Hmmm... Wonder if I have a suitable pic... My red dress is a summer dress, and I haven't worn it much for a couple of years. My best dress would be something else, but I know there's not any picture of me in it without other people.

(Unfortunately the mirror had a bench in front, no chance of a pic with legs showing. But my dancing shoes are pretty boring, more practical than showy.)

Luckily my late husband's family understands, and I didn't really care about the locals if any rumours got circling (didn't plan on staying there, and didn't think it was a big risk anyway).

While searching for those pics I realised I had first gone out dancing just 2 months + 1 week after becoming a widow. Luckily my late husband's family understands, and I didn't really care about the locals if any rumours got circling (didn't plan on staying there, and didn't think it was a big risk anyway).

I get the social frowning on my dating 3 months after my wife passed away. Social norms are weird so I don't tell people I have a girlfriend. Dating does not indicate a problem marriage or one where we did not love each other. We did love each other deeply. I am a person that needs love, affection, caring and the touch of someone who loves me. Sorry about this but feel the need to get it out.

I think you're better in blue than you could be in black. And even in situations where the etiquette calls for black, you can actually choose a very dark midnight blue.
