so another confession/question whatever...cliques....I have been trying for years to identify these cliques, but can't see them. Sometimes I thought I might but when I jump in, nope wasn't.

1, if you see these cliques, can you tell me a couple?
2, can you tell me what clique I am in?

I am serious. yes, I see two people are friends or couples, maybe even two couple friends, but mostly I just see people bouncing around based on interests, so if you see more, drop me a clue....especially number 2 lol.

Yes, this I think it’s natural to be a bit shy or intimidated when you’re new to Lit and aren’t sure how the threads ebb and flow, but almost without exception people are very welcoming to those that jump into conversations as long as they’re respectful to the dynamic of the thread and people involved.

Seriously? I read about cliques as if they are all powerful groups that control all aspects of Lit. What I actually see are small groups of friends dominating some threads. But I don't see malice. I have never been challenged when I wander in to a random thread that piques my interest and make a typical Tan post. I think maybe people are shy to the point of being intimidated to barge in and join an adult conversation.

You are part of "Dorks, Nerds and other Engineers", which is a boring clique. All cars, sportsball and sex. However, if you want to join a real clique, I am prepared to draw up ground rules, a list of people to be shunned and a thread just for the cool kids.

I expect to be ostricized immediately.

This is what I always think when I see the “High School” and “clique” accusations. Like it’s somehow wrong for people to have friends and be talkative with their friends in threads.

But for some of us Chaos is all we have! For me, I have no more living family (except my wife) in the 'real world' Chaos is my fantasy family - I will never meet them, never hold them, never touch, hug, kiss, never be near them, never console them when bad things happen, but I LOVE THEM! ❤, They are really all I have. I bounce around. I am not as active in AmPics because fewer of my friends post. I enjoy interacting with people I have gotten to know. I hang out in BDSM bit because "kinks". Fetish is a passing interest as is the Author forum. I was out of The Playground for like two years for various reasons (not cliques, more drama).

Occasionally the Personals are entertaining, but then inevitably not.

Too much manufactured drama in the GB.
