I wish I knew what half the stuff in this thread was about . I suppose you could argue that I should scroll way way back into the dark recesses of said thread and familiarise myself with all topics but that would require some effort on my part.

I'll give it a chance to explain.
This thread can be about anything. Sometimes it's silly, sometimes it's serous as some posts today. Mostly fun and takes some time to get in to what happens today. Sometimes the thread moves at warp speed and sometime it stands still for an hour or so (but that's not common). Humor is a big part of the thread with gifs as a amplifier sometimes. (a lot of sometimes here ) Everybody is nice and thoughtful and can take a joke with a wink.
So just jump in and feel at home. Get to know the people. You don't have to speak to everybody at the same time. That would require a fantastic typist!

I hope this sums up what's going on here.

Im just playing catch up after a viciously hectic morning. I didn't realize she was even heading in that direction. It makes me so sad, as I knew Sin for a long time around these parts, under this name and my old one. She was a gorgeous, bright, cantankerously funny SOB. We're all a little worse off for her not being with us. Hope those closest to her remember all her light

I have a crystal lake right down the way from me as well, unfortunately no camp there. Also here it's guaranteed you'd be shot so yeah no hockey masks for me either lol

The Crystal Lake from the movies is in North Jersey. It's a boy scout camp, but they do tours and movie screenings for the Friday the 13th fans a lot. My wife's gone a few times. I haven't.

There was a guy in our old estate who would randomly just walk about with his motorbike helmet on and if kids stopped him he'd lift the visor and had different masks on. I ended up at parties at his house sometimes and asked him once about it, said he did it for shits and giggles till the polis came round his door one day saying parents were complaining so he stopped doing it. Said he was going to glue antlers to it till the polis said stop.
