@TANSTAAFL58 my vote for your mallet is Walnut. If you want a two wood mallet I'd say use maple for the handle and walnut for the head. Unless there is some special use you have in mind that would make a person lean to a less hard wood for the mallet. While apple has the highest BTU rate and I think harder than walnut, I have rarely seen it used in a hand tool. Just my 2 cents.

There was a more quiet period here, but recently Chaos has gained more momentum. And there's even discussion at this time again, which is morning for me, soon 10am.

I've never been good with time zones. Even the ones within Australia, I have a friend in Perth and I always end up calling her very early in her morning lolI'm like that too.

@ScarlettLiv I actually made a table of my usual PM buddies time zones last summer... Kept getting confused who is waking up/working/sleeping when, as they were mostly in the US. (Nowadays not many people in my inbox.)

Since I started follow threads here on lit I've been more aware of timezones then I was before. Australia has four timezones, right?
I'm pretty sure it's 6 zones but I could be wrong.
