It always makes me sad to read this. It's so common that men do like that. I'm sorry that you were treated like this and I hope you find someone that respect you for the woman you are!

It is sad that people treat each other this way, it's not gender exclusive people are often just horrible because they lack things themselves and choose to take it out on others.

I hope you are talking with someone about this to help clear out the negativity. Life is far too short to have that running through your head.

You are human, like the rest of us. Worthy of love and respect, and a whole host of other good feels.

I have found a decent support group of people dealing with the after effects of domestic abuse. Unfortunately it wasn't only emotional I dealt with from him. My kids are all in therapy and I will be again after my first pay.


I've got to say the emotional support from this place is pretty phenomenal too
