Leather straps for my bed. One will go around the bed at pillow level and the other at the level of ankles (although other positions are possible too, of course). Attachment points all along the length of the straps.

I don't know if it's rare, but apparently it's at least not very common. My Dom is interested in less common devices and setups. (He even ordered one made-to-measure iron thingie which doesn't even have a name, at least not in Finnish. Not the most comfortable one but damn did it end up enabling some great pleasure.)

I've seen those. Seems like it would function like a more flexible version of the under bed restraint system we have. Ours has 4 straps that reach to each corner of the bed, so same general idea, but those leather straps you could get alot more creative with attachment points and all. Especially having a king sized bed, we don't have much wiggle room with our restraints.
