Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Gahhh. I fell asleep 18 pages ago and I'm not going to ask what happened.
Goodnight Chaos, I'll try to sort this out tomorrow or NOT!
I hope I was fun and not a disaster.
Mornin' or Afternoon or whatever, tootles, going back to sleep!

Various kinds, sketches like my avatar, some 3D sculpting, digital paintings, and just started experimenting with AI generated art since it's well on its way to replacing me. 😝
That is awesome! I’m married to an artist and into a family of artists so love to see peoples work and what inspires them.
The AI stuff is way crazy. It’s been a big debate topic in my house. Not that anyone really disagrees with each other about it but just about the future of art and what AI art means for traditional( human) artists.

It is a fascinating question, huh?
while I do contemporary/modern work in a traditional medium, I also spend quite a bit of time practicing, teaching, uncovering, researching, preserving traditional hand arts. These cannot be replaced with AI

I personally see it as another tool, same as when photoshop came about, and zbrush for sculpting. People said those advancements were going to get rid of artists. All that happend was people adapted and new opertunities opened up for people who learned those tools.

Morning Chaos. You've been busy again. I don't think I'll play catchup, I am far too irritated by that damn headache (though it will pass soon, I know) and not having slept better.

Good morning little owl
Sorry you are still headachy... glad to see you!

I’m so sorry you are dealing with a headache. We are planning a commune with wood cabin style homes. Plenty of places to lounge and an amazing kitchen.
We can add to the list a lavender garden and I will make you some lavender balm or spray to help with your headaches. View attachment 2193928

I love love love that scene! 😍 I like lavender, and I LOVE violet and purple... And the air seems so clean!

Edit. And the commune idea is appealing.

It's been most mornings recently - and that is odd. I'm not used to waking up with a headache, it's always been an evening thing, or sometimes afternoon. Not even my migraines have ever continued till the morning.

Though... One explanation comes to mind. I have to check one side effect list 🤔

I sense some interesting opinions about Art and AI in this post, and I'd love to pick your brain about it sometime if you'd be up for it? I like hearing other people's perspective. 🙂

As for the artist discussion I missed out on, I’ve alway admired artists in their many forms. When I was little, I always wanted to be an artist. A painter or drawer specifically. Always had an artist’s drive. Unfortunately, I do not have an artist’s talent. I simply cannot take what I see in my head and transfer that to canvas/paper. So I gave up on that dream. 🤷‍♂️
