Trust me. it is a fantastic cocktail. The slight bitterness of the Rye and the dry port goes very well together. (I am not a cocktail guy. My favourite cocktail is Whisky in a glass)

2 ounces Rye Whisky (I like Canadian Club 100% Rye) this replaces blended whisky or Bourbon in the original

3/4 ounce Tawny Port, replaces the Vermouth

1/4 ounce Maple Syrup, replaces the simple syrup

4 or 5 drops of Orange Bitters

A Orange Peel twist
