Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Oh hardly. I know people who have their hay analyzed for nutrients and stuff. 30 years of schlepping hay bales around and all I know is some of its greener and some of its heavier

They’re not wrong. Higher quality hay generates higher quality beef. We raised beef cattle, and you could really taste the difference between ours than the steroid infused stuff from Wal-Mart and Kroger.

I just read that the EU doesn't allow US beef or dairy products to be imported. I haven't had Canadian beef but the beef I Scotland is so much better than the hormone infused trash we get down here.

Yup. My bro and SIL do it to make sure the horses are getting their nutrients. Which I respect.

I get all my beef from a guy who deal with an organic beef farm. You could buy a $60 fillet mignon cooked rare at a fancy restaurant and it will taste like a shoe compared to my meat guys product

I love a woman who knows good meat.

We have a place in town that sells real organic meat not the fauxrganic stuff the grocery stores sell.

20 pages of posts since this morning! I’m not even going to try to catch up. I hope it’s been lots of chaos and fun! It’s been a busy one here.
Sweet potatoes are done,
Apple crumb and pumpkin pies are done.
Brussel sprouts are prepped.
Turkey is brined.
Champagne is chilling.
Still have to make the French toast casserole for the morning and prep the stuffing and then I get to rest.
It makes for an easier turkey 🦃 day.

Be still, my heart. 😍

I’m a total steak snob. Mrs Soup, being a city girl, just doesn’t “get it”. She’s not as much of a carnivore as I am though. Fine by me. Means I get all the good cuts while she spends 5 minutes per bite chewing top round.

Nebs, you would love the place we go to. It’s a working farm. All the proteins are raised by them. It’s so yummy!!
