It's "Twitter Freedom Friday!"

Twitter has been more interesting of late. :)
Train wrecks usually provoke morbid curiosity.

Of course, the fired employees and people getting targeted, physically attacked, and / or killed because of the “new” twitter’s “improved” facilitation of hate probably view things differently.

*nods*

Do you feel better for taking my post out of context and coming across as a supercilious,, self-righteous prick?

Ahh yes all that violence, it is clearly freedom of speech that's the problem ....... because DEATH AND DESTRUCTION is what happens when people are allowed to say things Lazaran doesn't like!!!

You can always move to Russia Lazarn, they're big on censorship.

China too, might want to give them a look, the CCP is right up your alley politically.... anti-civil and human rights, crush anyone who doesn't comply with an iron fist, tightly controlled economy.

If you REALLY want to get progressive though check out N. Korea, their totalitarianism is the stuff your dreams are made of.

My apologies.

I had / have no idea what the context of your post was and it didn’t matter to me.

I basically used it to riff off.

And I did have an intended audience (not you) which I successfully triggered.

See: The post below yours.

Again, my apologies for using your post.

Peace.

To the "progressives" "Free Speech" is having the ability to bully into silence anyone you disagree with.
Salient observation.

Additionally, speech they do not agree with has been labeled hate speech, and hate speech is something that can be addressed legislatively when you are powerless to do anything about free speech.

To paraphrase: What good is free speech if it precludes "hate" speech?

You know better than most that not even Laurel prohibits your preferred hate speech.

I guess on the positive side; it keeps the noses of the nerds glued to their screens and leaving me alone.

The more people addicted to their e-world, the less of them are out there in the real world

Thanks Elon.

The first .Com startup I worked at we had re-orgs nearly every Quarter. One day 50% were let go by surprise. There would be days you'd get a Memo from Finance telling you not to spend any money, then you'd get one saying you had to spend your budget by month's end. Big projects and products would get Cancelled on a moments notice, new ones would start seemingly on a whim.

Whatever Musk is doing to Twitter, he's doing for Reasons.

The fact that the Staff & Customers haven't been told what or why...is irrelevant.

Cool story, bro.

Firing coders and trying to replace them with employees from your other companies who don't write the same code means that he has no plan whatsoever.

Donald Trump is allowed on. Alex Jones is not. I guess only some people get free speech.
