Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Good morning Chaos!

My doc just told me I am being released.

The question is "how far". We had snow squalls alright. I asked him how much? (He lives out of town) he just frowned and said "lots".

Not encouraging.

We are supposed to be heading out for the weekend...a 2-hour drive. The place we rented is right beside the most popular ski resort in SW Ontario. We aren't there for the skiing. In fact, we got an off-season deal on the place. They got a foot of snow last night. Here's hoping the roads are open!

What's up this morning?

Here doctors don't even talk about it! I only found out Innovair can do that a few months ago, and I am pretty sure my previous medicine did too. Because, I can't survive summer without mineral water anymore. Growing up I could do with tap water.
That seems wrong somehow. It shows up in my blood work.

Docs dont always order a chem, usually just a cbc. You have to remind them to add the electrolyte panel, unless it’s standard for their practice.

I'm going to have to look up canarian stew.....
Look up even a few versions. Canarian stew is the kind of food where everyone has their own version. Like potatoes, sweet potatoes or both? It's a very forgiving recipe, you pretty much put in everything you have 😂

I do my thing in the sense that I leave everything in the broth, and therefore cut them into rough bite-size pieces.

And it's delicious! 👌

Good morning all.
Happy Friday!!

Doctors don't even talk about the possible potassium deficit here. And definitely don't check it.

As the generalists aren't even aware of the thing, they don't check it and are reluctant to add "extra" things to the labs. Usually they only check my lungs (sprimetry etc) and renew the prescription. No blood tests at all concerning asthma.

I've found a few recipes that I'm going to combine together as I see fit. Thanks!
