Literally every conversation with this guy begins with him complaining about being oppressed by "D's" and ends with him openly wishing for the oppression of others.

A certain mid-20th century government in Central Europe made great use of moral ciphers of low intelligence just like this.

The difference is that Dorsey doesn't really care about being a public figure. Musk wants to be noticed, wants to be loved, wants to be thought of as interesting and humorous apart from the fact that people are forced to pay attention to him because he's rich. Leaving aside the option of using his fortune to pursue some sort of public service because LOLOL, the guy could have done literally anything else and just watched the money continue to pile up. But he needs that spotlight. And the idea that people are laughing at him pisses him off like nothing else.

Americans ought to be used to this particular personality type by now.
