I haven't done any kind of good job of updating at all! This is motivating me to actually do that.
Lol … I’ve been meticulous about updating it for the last 2 years. My friend and I started a low key book club and are always sharing our book recommendations.. it’s been good for both of us because we keep each other motivated

Weird term. Movies aren't called visual fiction fiction, after all, or radio plays audible fiction. Fiction should be enough.
I don't disagree in a basic kind of way, but fiction is broad and encompasses all genres. This is kind of a bookstore distinction that separates from, say, romance and sci fi and whatever.

I'd love to join in. I read incessantly. Of course, a lot of it is crap and not worth writing down, but it's great to get recommendations and also I just forget what I've read.

All written fiction is literary, and all those genres are fiction, so to use it as a distinction is very silly in my opinion. It tells absolutely nothing about the genre compared to the ones it is supposed to distinguish from.

Your call, of course, but if you search for "fiction" you get all the books. More specific searches are time-efficient. That's more important to me than what I think that precise terminology should be.

Mika & ccg any book recommendations in urban fantasy and the like? Anne Rice and Jim Butcher and Laurell K Hamilton are the authors i like so far
Not really a genre I’ve read a lot of recently … I was a HUGE Anne Rice fan back in the day and absolutely absorbed all of her books .. but if you like horror I’ve got you fucking COVERED.

If you like the movies “Cabin in the Woods” and “Ready or Not” … I read a great book recommendation for you.

If you like slasher films, I have a horror author you will love!

If you like unbearably creepy that sticks with you for days, there’s an author that will satisfy that need.
