Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Just so you all know why I’m a basket case: 19 year old is living in his truck because I’m too much of a hard ass. Daughter is pregnant and getting married. So I’m gonna be a gramma. And my youngest thinks I’m the most perfect mom ever. Talk about pressure.
Hope you're going to be OK. :) (BIG HUGS)

Sorry to hear MM . My kids are still young. I need to know your secret though. How do you stay looking so young with all the crazy. I went bald after a year of my first she is only 5.... scared to see what else is going to fail by the time she is 19.

I'm sorry your son feel like he has to live in his truck because you are a hard ass. One day he will realize parents need to be hard asses its the only way to guarantee they grow up to be semi normal.
Congats for your daughters wedding and the baby ❤️❤️ being a grandma is pretty damn awesome we get to be soooo much more softer on grandbabies than we do our own children because we can give them back after all the spoiling rotten 🤣
My youngest stepson believes the same he never really got that I'm a pretty fucked up individual. Got to love the love you blinders mentality

This sounds all to familiar. Why is it always the youngest that thinks you are amazing!?! 😁

You're 19-year-old will realize what hard is when he sees the real world. For a while I lived with my best friend and his family. His oldest son was 17. He would complain all the time about my friend checking to see if his homework's done, asking who's going to be at what event, and explaining to him the importance of saying no to drugs. I remember his kid telling me how harsh and unfair his dad was, and thought to myself, at least he cared. When we're young, we only know what we've experienced. It's not until we get out into the real world, that we realize how good we had it

Caring parents are a real thing. They kept me safe as long as possible.
