I did that cleaning a meat slicer. It was so quiet, I thought I'd turned it off, but actually turned it on.

Agreed sooooo calming. It was a dumb mistake, but an easy one to make. Still, I unplugged them from then on.

I say really depends on the break. There are breaks that you can still have mobility without pain.

I got in a fight as a kid. Went to the school nurse. She called my mother. The nurse told my mother to have it checked out as she thought it was broken. My wonderfully incompetent mother waits a week. The doc looks at it. Takes a few X-rays.
Yep. It’s broken. We are going to have to rebreak it and set it.
He rebroke it. No pain meds. Just snapped it.
