Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I don't normally post here, but this caught my attention so I thought I would chime in.

I highly recommend using eyeshadow as a liner. It's forgiving and gives definition without the harsh line - which can make some look older. I can only speak for myself, but as I inch toward 40, I need all the help to blur those lines :)
Welcome

Thanks for chiming in.
I'm also tending to think that sparkly anything (eye shadow etc) is also aging after you hit a certain mark - 40? 50? 60? Idk.

So those are general categories and lots of different brands to choose from?

I do not like anything but the lightest products on my face. I have used some light sun screen type products. I am fortunate in that my skin is blemish free, and I am always uncertain about it making my skin feel oily or prone to middle age acne. And all the product the gals at the make up counter want to sell me makes my head spin with the complications and the cost. 🤯
Yes, it’s just explaining the difference between the two kinds. Lots of brands to choose from.

It’s why I wear the CC cream, light coverage and evens out skin tone to give a bright look to your skin. I have dry skin so I have the opposite, I need to hydrate my skin. But they don’t feel oily at all.

Does anyone have a brand they especially like (US)? I get lost looking at all the product options and decide to spend my money on something else... 🤷‍♀️

I highly recommend Tarte's BB cream. It's basically a tinted moisturizer, really light, feels great

Yeah anything super shiny or sparkly didn't look as good after my 20's to me actually.
It's okay to me though. I like that and I like a more dramatic look, but I also like super natural. There are so many ways to be beautiful.

For just general everyday use for work, I use a CC cream from Aldi. It is cheap at £3.99. It is light on the skin and does what it says on the tin.

I swear we're twins. Red undertone ✔️ Dry skin ✔️ sassy ass ✔️

I use L’Oréal C’est Magic CC for work. It’s cheap and it’s actually amazing. It Cosmetics one is very good too. But I’m in the UK so I’m not sure about USA
I buy mostly Reina Rebelde. The stuff for my face, creams Etc, vary from month to month depending on recommendations I get

Thank you all... taking notes.
