mine are all older retired white rural folks. There was Billie Mae...now deceased, but she had a lot in common with Sophia from the Golden Girls, as in one too many strokes and no filter. She was hysterical. She was constantly trying to bribe my dogs with cooked chicken to get them to like her. She and 2 of my dogs got along together great, but she really disliked the third because no matter how much chicken she threw at it, it always barked at her. Thing is, I didn't have 3 dogs. I had 2 dogs and a goose. She spent years throwing chicken at my goose lol.

Then we have this couple I absolutely love. He is a retired auto mechanic stoner and comes over a lot. She is just super sweet and always gets my son gifts for the holidays.

Then somehow I became the house were all the teen boys hang when staying with their grandparents. I guess because I always have soda, junk food, sports gear. Some are young adults now, still stopping by when the visit there grandparents, and new younger teens have appeared from lord knows where.

Not ritzy for sure, but nice folks in their way.

his may be too urban for that. I think my neighbors had a python earlier in week, photograph and everything. Another had a bear. The alligators don't really get mentioned, that is just part of life.
