Is that how ignore works? They just don’t show up on the thread for that person? I haven’t used it. I might need to since I have seen people stand up against racism (yeah!) and then make statements about white people which by definition, is racist. Well, you don't get their PMs either so they never get a chance to redeem themselves privately with you. And you miss out on reading amusing dialogues cause you only get the half you don't ignore. I say get some popcorn and hit ignore if it becomes too much for you. You can always unignore them later or reveal the ignored posts if you want to join in

In addition to what others have written, apparently the ignored person still sees what YOU write. (I've had ignore person liking my posts.)

You can choose to show ignored content - and when you refresh the page, it is ignored again.

I agree completely. Reverse racism isn’t a thing. If someone hates someone because of the color of their skin, that is racism. It is very simple.

I don’t want to ignore anyone. I would rather we get along and avoid those things that divide us and celebrate the things that unite us.

Though I do not post a lot or often here, I enjoy my visits, enjoy the laughs, the flirts, the jokes the comradery. I think, in the very basics of it, you all have to remember that you do enjoy each other's company and you cannot let one person be the wedge that separates it. There are people that some will like, and some will not, just the way it is.

Google, the great purveyor or truth. What a hypocrite you are! It’s okay to hate me because of the color of my skin, but it’s justified because lots of peoples skin is that color.

Yes but even if you (general you) hate them you can't oppress them. Structurally speaking.

I don't hate white people but I hate white Supremacy. And white people benefit from white privilege whether they see it or not. Like I've said before, you're not a bad person for not knowing or seeing it but it does mean there's internal work to be done

I saw some of this yesterday and caught up on all of it today annnnd all I have to contribute is that I’m bummed things are going down like this. I’ve seen the majority here have some pleasant and funny interactions/conversations with Mo and he’s a great guy. I wish you could know him better because maybe you would see the persona piece in a different light. But really, Amber summed it up more perfectly than I could so I won’t go into it again and echo her. We all feel how we feel.

Okay maybe that’s not all I have to contribute - I feel like this thread is disappointing right now too. Being snarky and mean with our friends, calling out that we don’t like someone repeatedly where it’s not necessary, threatening to leave the thread, and all the other negative chatter. Just sad.
