I’d love to try it, but I’ve lost my taste for ginger. I had a dish in China that had so much ginger in it, it felt like someone stuck a cattle prod in my mouth and turned it on. Have steered clear of it since.

How long ago was that? Maybe it's time to try again? There are just so many good things with some ginger in them.

(Of course I say that, and I'm still not crazy about hazelnuts after WAY overdoing them while making a fancy dessert in grad school. Which was a LONG time ago.)

The gin is not very gingery.

My cocktail friend is coming over next week and bringing fresh rhubarb simple syrup, so if I've got any more of that, I'm making up some amazing cocktail. Will report back!

I'm a bugger for actually reading profiles I've read everyones on here and in most threads I chat on. I think it's rude not to people put effort into it and I find if I do read them then I can actually hold a better conversation with background info

I don’t know about AFF, but it doesn’t help that all most dating sites show you now are a person’s picture and user name. There’s no real incentive to read a profile, it’s ridiculous
