Starfucks 2

Okay time for sleep….
With my flannelette sheets… and my 5.5 blankets… and the heater…
It feels like a nice warm hug…

I'm from the southern US originally and most summers where I am now don't bother me too much, more annoying than anything, but this year and the past few have felt like the sun is actively trying to kill me.

Morning folks, let's kick open those doors and.......sheesh, it's a lot cooler than the start of the week 😬. No matter, coffee's hot, food's baking, and the staff are sizzling!!

Oh, and Desmond, don't stay in front of the A/C too long, it can be bad for the, er, "visuals" , if you know what I mean 😳.

Morning!

I had a coke today! My first one in over 3 years....

CAFFEINE!!!!!! It counters the sleepy from the valium...
ahhhh uppers and downers...

Three years?!
Yeah… march 2019 was when I stopped other than the occasional black tea and the very very very very rare decaf coffee (like once every 6 months).

Let me tell you… it tasted fucken amazing!!!

Apparently caffeine fuels my panic attacks… so does sugar but that only lasted 6 months and my mood got worse! Turns out sugar free is fucken expensive and makes me grumpy as fuck. I need my happy sugar.

So learnt to balance it all.

And I’m sure that the occasional small glass of caffeine won’t hurt… it was more the large amounts I was having before.
We are talking between 1-2L of coke a day, plus coffee and tea and 2 large energy drinks…
Caffeine didn’t do anything to keep me awake… I just liked the taste.

But I’m still going to take it easy and balance things. It was just a nice treat.

I stopped drinking soda (or pop where I come from) several years ago also. Awful stuff for diabetes. But, every once in a while, I'll grab a coke. Heaven!!

I’ve cut down a lot on the amount of soft drink I have. But sometimes I get a craving for it.

Maybe I’ll take up drinking tea or coffee instead 🤔

a lot of sugar free stuff has aspartame in it, which they say on the label is a source of phenylalanine, but they don't tell you why. If your body can't metabolise the stuff (and not everyone can), it builds up in the body and causes symptoms often mistaken for ADHD. My lad has this, but at 13 he has the body mass to deal with it if we're careful to limit the amount. When he was younger, and smaller, it was a total no-go or he was an absolute nightmare.

Good morning/afternoon/evening ...all you delightfully warped people!

Been a long week for me and have been away on business! ...but I've been keeping an eye on you all through my network of CCTV Cams ...and since I opened STARFUCKS https://i.imgur.com/LESsgo6.png, and even before that, I've seen most things - even participated in some of the practices, ...but you lot always manage to surprise and shock me somehow! 😳

Good all ! Grab your favorite drink and relax. So whats your go to for breakfast ? I'm a toast peanut butter and honey and banana if have .
