It's a great, wonderful, well made film. Heartfelt too.

But I am no longer equipped to watch it.

Was that the one with Susan Sarandon & Tim what’s his name or the one where if you build it, they will come?

Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon were in Bull Durham. Kevin Costner too. He was also in Field Of Dreams with James Earl Jones and the great Ray Liota. Field Of Dreams was as much about the afterlife and fatherhood than sports.

Also ‘sportsball?’ Come on now. How lazy and cliche. Its like I tell my kids who play a lot of sports that there are life lessons and friendships you’ll make thru sports you cant get anywhere else. If you dont like it fine but dont discount people who fucking commit to a fucking craft.
