I think it's rooted in the misguided assumption that women are the gatekeepers of sex and by agreeing to it, we're extinguishing some burning desire?!

I hadn't thought about it until now and the more I think, the more I realize it's a pretty awful thing to say. There's so much nonsense lurking right under the water of this one.
