Hey all, just received a message from Minxee that she has arrived safely from her long drive.

Gotta get going, I will be away for the next week. I will miss seeing all of you. Behave yourselves.... who am I kidding, try to not get into too much trouble.

Morning, ALL! I see the crew has gotten the new framing done. Drywall and mud today. With fans and low humidity, paint will happen day after tomorrow, Mr. X. I trust that the crewe are not taking to many liberties with free drinks? And not making asses of themselves with the Staff?

I arrived at my new house!!!
10.5hrs of driving in a truck with a “sensor malfunction” so it had a warning beep the whole fucken trip. A beep every damn second…. 10.5hrs of beeping….
And yet I arrived somewhat sane but with a headache.
The trip was bumpy as fuck. I felt so bad for my poor cat as she could not curl up and sleep with al the freaken bumps. She spent the last 4hrs of the trip curled up in her litter box… I felt so bad!!!
However she explored and drank water and ate and used the litter box and let me friend pet her all within 30mins of us arriving. She has NEVER done that. Usually she will hide for hours!!!
She spent the whole night asleep under the blankets curled up near my feet. She probably needed the sleep.

Today is unpacking the truck day. And then slowly unpacking boxes. I have WAY too much shit.

It’s cold here. It’s an older house and to be honest I was spoilt with my old place - it has central heating that would kick in if it dropped below 20c. And before you all go on about 20c being hot - yes… yes it is - which gave me a reason to not wear clothes. 😳
I’m going to need to buy a heater for the bedroom… and maybe some warm pjs?

In other news I am sick as fuck! Worse than I’ve been in a while. Voice is now breaking and comes and goes. And my sinuses are super fucked making my head feel heavy and full of cotton wool. But hopefully it passes soon.

Hopefully tonight I will have found and be able to set up my computer and reply to mail and chat more.

And remember if you can’t be good at least be good at it. 😘

Glad you got there OK Minxee, ...OK it wasn't plain sailing, but you're there now! 😘
Kitchen is coming along - as per your plans ...and no I haven't changed the plans to have a big window put in! So don't panic!

Take your time to settle in and rest and then we can get down to the naughty stuff 😈

And I'm gonna collect on the 'hugs, kisses and gropes' when you're back 😉
