Hey I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time. We all go through that. If you were to have a disorder or a mental health 'issue' I just wanna say that there is A LOT of help out there and even though sometimes mental health services aren't easily available you can find something if you dig hard enoughThanks for saying.
I’m a bigger mess than I let on to be, sometimes it just overwhelms me and I feel all fucked up, worthless and ugly. Why should I not be okay with ‘normal’? Do I just have a mental disease like so many people say?
Sometimes I know better but sometimes I just feel fucked up.

And also really want to highlight this

Okay, here's one of life's secrets I learned from the psychology teacher I had during my degree completion.
All of us are a hot mess. The concept of sane/normal or is really just functionality. It's our ability to cope, our coping skills, that keep our rationality in place. When that coping skill set is flawed or disabled then the least of things our coping skills will manage instead disables us.
If you haven't or even if you have in the past, take the time to schedule an appointment with a psychologist or psychiatrist that your medical care provider recommends. Doing so in no way is an indication of weakness or being mentally ill. Instead, it's just an opportunity to have someone evaluate you and help to guide you in your own self-reflection and understanding.
