I have thought of it as a fantasy but never tried it for real. I would think if it is just an occasional thing it could be fun but suspect that full time would turn it into a real job. Do you focus on just pleasing you client or do you get off too?

I suspect that it occurs more than a person thinks, but it might not be considered as such by the lady.

I had a woman-friend who was in NO WAY promiscuous, and her car needed some considerable work done on it. She is of means, but the mechanic did not know that, and suggested sex in leu of payment for much of the bill. There is really only one reason he made the offer... it has worked for him in the past!

One woman said she did it as a hobby, two quite clearly for money who seem to regard it as a legitimate job, one or two barterers perhaps, and one fantasist.

I suspect that all of the ladies have an initial interest in making some cash, some have come to terms with that, but others seek another rationale for their decision. Probably an easier decision to make in a jurisdiction which has decriminalized the occupation.

During my 25 years of practice, I have seen no less than 10 married women who prostituted themselves. If I remember correctly, most had children. Some did it for the extra money they needed, others for the mere pleasure of the sex act. In most of these the husband knew about it.
