I hear ya!!

The minimalist in me likes the abbreviated look of strappy heels too, but I also like new and different!

The color changing high heels were sequin-like and so they changed from silver to gold as she entered different light.

But they have heels now that use LED lights and batteries to change colors at a flip of a switch. That would look cool in a darkened club with a lady dancing, but kind of high-tech for a pair of shoes I admit.

We are talking woman's shoes here, so anything is possible as a lady will spend any amount of money on her shoe-collection.

Indeed CuttingEdge... Although I'm not sure about all the gadgetry with all due respect... Call me old fashioned, I'm just happy with a Woman's beautiful feet and a pair of sexy shoes...

Those do not really do anything for me, but I am not sure it is the style so much as maybe the jeans she is wearing, the chair she is in, and the shoe-color. Too earth-tone for me all in all, making it seem as if she is rather "hippy-like".

I like a little bling, but I know what you are saying. I don't discount other peoples likes, in any case.
