High heels

Cute...strappy heels and hosiery makes a great combination.

I was watching an episode of JAG on tv and there was this eccentric sniper way out in the woods, and he said something like, "how pretty is your female assistant", and Harm was like, "how did you know I had a female assistant", and the man said,

"Because I can smell her pantyhose".

You would have to watch the whole thing to fully understand, but they do have a very distinct smell to them.

It is with great sadness I have to report the sad loss of 3 loved ones.
They are all off to the Charity shop this morning, so walk in peace my friends amd thanks for the memories gone, but never forgotten. 🥰

Those are some cute heels that I be your wife looked nice in.

Myself, I was typically pretty good in buying heels that my wife liked, but not always. There were a few pairs that she never wore that I had bought her. One was a dark blue pair of heels with a kitten heel, or as she referred o them as, "blue wedding shoes from the 1980's".

OUCH!

Thanks for your interesting insight CuttingEdge... Sounds like some fun TV... I really  it when a show, or a movie has some kind of homage to Women, Her legs/feet, and/or heels... May be a scene on a couch...

Velcro ankle straps had to have been invented by a woman! Love 'em! :)

You would have thought, but that is not the case.

Wikipedia Citation:

"Swiss electrical engineer George de Mestral invented his first touch fastener when, in 1941, he went for a walk in the Alps, and wondered why burdock seeds clung to his woolen socks and coat, and also his dog Milka. He discovered it could be turned into something useful. He patented it in 1955, and subsequently refined and developed its practical manufacture until its commercial introduction in the late 1950s."

Once while doing a historical photo, I made a pair of vintage Mary Janes for the model by gluing velcro to a modern looking pair of heels for the short time period that she needed them.

I love these high heels as well, but holy smolies does that stiletto's look like it will snap at any moment from how tall and thin it is!!

May be, but I know there's usually a steel rod inside the heel. Although I'll admit it takes a gutsy Woman to walk around in heels like that...

I've read the same article a short while ago when talking about Velcro... It's funny how certain innovations are used in unexpected ways... But, hey... If it ain't broke, why fix it?...

Is there no end to your talents CuttingEdge?
