I’m nosey about thoughts on paper straws. I love turtles but fuck I hate paper straws. Anyone else?

If they want people to use paper straws, I feel like they could make them just better.

In Vietnam they had bamboo straws, which one assumes were turtle-friendly plus didn't fall apart.

The last time I cried really really hard was a few months ago. It was a very sad cry for a very specific reason. The reason still exists, but some days I can handle it better than other days.

I think if an English Lassie had a personal lit space then there might be a problem somewhere. My understanding of the term “lassie” is a girl or young woman. I would never use it for somebody over the teenage years. It is mostly a Scottish/Northern England term though so I could be wrong in my understanding of it.

The last time I cried, it was because a friend of mine lost her mom after her suffering. She told me and I was there for her. After the call, I allowed myself to cry for her. I stopped being so self conscious about crying when I kept being reminded by my so that I am human and I need to let it out.
