Did you know that water is carbon based?

What's not to understand? It's just 2 molecules of a volatile carbon based organic bonded with an oxydizer and maintained at a temperature which keeps it in a liquid state.

Or don't you know that?

In other news, the earth is flat, vaccines contains transmitters to aid in alien abduction, and babies are delivered by storks. :)

Edit to add this!

Educate yourself...

most of the hydrogen on Earth exists in molecular forms such as water or organic compounds...

By some definitions, "organic" compounds are only required to contain carbon. However, most of them also contain hydrogen, and because it is the carbon-hydrogen bond that gives this class of compounds most of its particular chemical characteristics,*carbon-hydrogen bonds are required in some definitions of the word "organic" in chemistry...

Through catenation, carbon forms a countless number of compounds. A tally of unique compounds shows that more contain carbon than do not.[81]*A similar claim can be made for hydrogen because most organic compounds contain hydrogen*chemically bonded to carbon or another common element like oxygen or nitrogen.

BTW dingbat, Hydrogen isn't one of the noble gasses. It's non metallic and it's also not silica. By default, that leaves carbon as the base for the atom. Unless you're going to tell us that there's another base that science doesn't know about which consists of the hydrogen atom alone.

As the coup de grace to your stupid insistence on ignorance, did you know that you can create hydrogen by dissolving charcoal (which is carbon) in acid?

Yes, hydrogen atoms are made out of carbon atoms! :D

Let’s hope Derpy is better at law than he is at chemistry.

I'm not even sure if this one makes Tim's greatest hits.

Wonderful, a tribute thread to little ol' me.

Alas, poorly executed, but still...

More!!!

I've changed my mind, this definitely has the potential to be one of Tim's greatest hits.

This is absolutely fucking priceless.

It deserves a bigger platform than lit.

*chuckles*

Just when I thought HisArpy had hit the bottom of the intellectual elevator with hydroxcholrine , he found a new sub-basement....

*sits back with popcorn* wondering if this will become a three day meltdown, or if HisArpy will bury his head in the sand, never to be seen in this thread again....
