Thing about Saaaaaaabs; they may have once been good cars, but good or bad- they were usually frickin' ugly. Just saying.

Plus, didn't some of the early models (mid-late 60s vintage) have two stroke engines for some unfathomable reason? Two stroke engines make sense for motor bikes, snowmobiles and lawn mowers, but not cars!!

With that said, I like Sweden. It's a pretty cool country, has had a lot of great pop music come out of there. How many, for example, Norwegian pop singers/bands besides A-Ha do you know (and no, scary clown metal bands don't count.)

No, the goalposts were hospitalizations and deaths. A spike in "cases" using a test with a 3% false positive rate, that also detects dead viruses and minimal viral loads is moving the goalposts number of "cases" is nonsense and always waa.

For a very good reason, no one was counting asymptomatic "cases" of the original SARS. No one counts asymptomatic "cases" of influenza for the same reason.

Presence of a detectable virus in a healthy individual is not a "case."

.
Remember when the RWCJ was promoting India as the poster child for "everything's fine", Covid's "no big deal".

That take didn't age well.

*nods*

You just cannot trust the Chinese to get it right:

"Seychelles, which has vaccinated a higher proportion of its population against coronavirus than any other country, is struggling to contain a new surge in Covid-19 infections, raising questions about the effectiveness of a Chinese shot the island nation has administered to the majority of its vaccinated residents."

Brazil is also finding out the hard way that "political ideology based braggadocio" doesn't necessarily mean "as effective as advertised."

No, he doesn't. Like the rest of the SFB's he just makes shit up as he goes along.

Did you mean: shit for brains

shit-for-brains - Urban Dictionaryhttps://www.urbandictionary.com › define › term=shit-f...
Stupidity; idiocy; etc. A person who has "shit for brains" behaves stupidly. "Shit for brains" refers to brainlessness. Gee, Ishtard, you are one stupid ass; Hey shit-for-brains, you fucked up again didn't you?

Approx. 15K deaths out of a 10 million + population. That's what .15%? Sweden certainly didn't fair any better than other developed nations, but it didn't fair any worse either.

Their primary peers are Norway, Finland, and Denmark, and they did substantially worse than those three. And to no apparent benefit aside from owning libs in the U.S., in the unlikely event that they care about that.

For the record, we don't care about that.

I've been keeping an eye on it and it's still there.

Once you steal it, I'm not sure how you hide it.

:p

Indeed.

But, in my opinion, the goalposts were, and are still, excess mortality. Because people die and snowflakes need to learn to deal with that. Or, to put it bluntly, cost per quality adjusted year of life saved. Because saving lives is expensive, really expensive.

Some morons post pics of the dinosaurs obsessing over "the economy", but not for a moment do those morons ask themselves were the resources for cancer treatments, brain surgery and organ transplantations come from, because those are not cheap.

So, what are the cost of the lockdowns and restrictions and mask mandates (those are not cheap either), how many lives did they save, and how much better, or worse, could those resources have been used? Those are the questions that people and media should ask themselves.

Just imagine, all leftist US Democrats, that for the money spent on the stimulus bills (which were necessitated by the lockdowns, not the virus) you could have had your single payer public healthcare many times over.

On the other hand, had the TDS suffering lunatics not gone even more insane over HydroxyCholorquine being capable of helping people fight off Covid, we might have not had prolonged lockdowns or the trillions spent for it.

Without needing single payer at all.

As a side note: I wonder how many lives were lost BECAUSE idiots in legislative positions decided that TDS was more important and subsequently banned the prescribing of HydroxyCholorquine as an "off list" treatment for Covid19.
