on the crusted green slope, in a clearing between mature trees, the bare-limbed honeysuckle bush spreads about 15'x15... the past few days it's been decorated in a 1/4" glaze of delicate crystal, catching any daylight and sparks from the sodium lamps down the driveway.

today, it's dusted all over in confectioner's sugar, contrasting beautifully with its darker skin beneath the canopy. sat perfectly central, positioned halfway top to bottom and side to side, the brightest red bird...a cardinal, posing for his closeup, a valentine of a picture if ever there was one.

Well that was a shit day at work. Someone ( a business ) made me angry but I hope my emails didn't sound too angry and now I feel bad in case they did. I did say to the recipient - 'I know it's not your fault or you job to sort it out' so maybe that helped... their accounts dept is shit but is probably working from home with small children running around so, you know, covid life. I hate being angry but fuckanory.

so it snowed last night, came down like rain, wet and small... but it kept right on falling despite everything, i just couldn't get to sleep last night without popping outdoors at 3.30am with the yardstick... 6.5"-8", and that wasn't even in the piled up drifted areas. it looked soo damned pretty!

today, it's melting fairly rapidly; we're down to around a 2-3" covering and the birds are going crazy for all the feed we scattered outside for them. blue birds, robins, wrens, cardinals, starlings, blackbirds, doves and more.

Vette ghosted after (or prior to, technically) double-downing on an alt that invested all its pride on Cheeto winning a second term. We ain't seeing him no more. Supposedly he hitched his wagon to Iowa. Either the panny or the snow probably got him now.

Busyshit has been corralled to the Politics Forum, where he'll remain being the lovable racist breakfast cereal box of Feces Flakes until he croaks.

AJ goes by Champakian currently and he also remains being a lifer schmuck. A lot of the joy he used to have being a snarky forum dilettante back in the day is gone, though.
