Not sure if I can help ya there. Despite a lot of people dying in my stories, I only had Laurel tap my wrist once for snuff allegations (they were not quite warranted, but I rewrote a good chunk of "Ghost in the Machine 14" anyways).

I've come up with a write around. Just shortened the whole thing and took a section out of the epilogue.

Too bad they were really cool scenes. Maybe I'll post the original version somewhere else. I hate to let it go.

A recent piece in the TLS noted that there are writers with 'covert' insecurity (ie. they bluffed confidence or evinced casual disregard to say, bad reviews) and those with 'overt' insecurities about their work. I think all writers want their work to be at least noticed, if not appreciated.

And of course literotica readers will provide feedback, instantly....

Ditto, although mine is only in the 10,500 class. Worst story I've ever written. Period!

It got so gross in places I had to cut scenes out otherwise it was heading for erotic horror. It's probably STILL headed for there. I had to use a third watered down ending cause the first two violated Lit's rules.

I'm still grinding away at mine. I've crossed 30K. It won't be print-ready for Geek Pride Day, but I set myself a deadline and I'm going to try to at least have a completed story. It will still need polish and editing time after that, but better late than never I guess.

104,127, to be precise. Wife and beta reader wanted more resolution than I provided, so I had to add around 4k. Ugh. How did I get there? No idea. I just kept writing. Maybe I went overboard on insignificant details like fake tech or philosophy in spots, but in the end it's a proper erotic adventure story. It ended up having much more sex than anticipated, and weird shit to boot. Lots of aliens, futa and tentacles. Hooray for shapeshifters! On the other side of the coin, there will be galaxy spanning mysteries, space battles, tech nerdery highly inspired by Crimson Skies and BattleTech and hopefully another look at my "Rembrandt" universe people find engaging.

Still writing, but there’s about 18 stories submitted so far, and Laurel will be checking for uploads up until tomorrow morning, so hopefully 20 or so. I don’t have to much to write, another 3k words, and it’s mostly tentacle sex, so I’ll get my story entered. I’m enjoying it a lot. I keep stopping to reread. That’s so baaaad.
