The prevalence of non-sequitur responses

Real Americans don't give a fuck about Euro-trash, Nazi Boi.

I am curious about the cause and effect factors that contribute to the high volume of non-sequitur responses. A case in point is the above response to post 26.

The question pertained to the validity of blaming Donald Trump for deaths caused by China's release of the so called COVID-19 virus. In particular the leading question was raised about who should be blamed for such deaths in Europe. The purpose of the question should be evident: It would be irrational to blame Trump.

But the above quoted response pertains to an unrelated observation that Americans don't give a fuck about Euro-trash.

Do any of you have a theory about why so many non-sequitur responses like this are offered?

The fact that my insurance carrier left the state, was not delusional. Their retreat was caused by Obamacare.
The fact the cost of my replacement insurance more than doubled, was not delusional. It was because of Obamacare.
The fact that my deductible went up, to almost $9000, was not delusional. It was because of Obamacare.
And, I had co-pays I never had before.
