I have to give him a little space to do what he needs to do. He's fairly new to me. I rescued him from PetSmart in Feb and at that time he was only 5mos old. So as you might imagine, it's been a bit entertaining. I lost my other cat, Missy just after Christmas due to Cancer so I thought it was time to bring another cat into the fold. Keeping me on my toes!!!! LOL

You're forgiven

I love laughing, which ones do you like the best? I'm not into History all that much but there have been a few that I've watched. Saw one on Adolph Hitler, yeah that was interesting, to say the least.

It is amazing what a cat can do for you. We always say what we do for them, but how much they give us comfort is amazing. We have two new kittens, sisters. They cause all sorts of havoc with the older cats lol.

Thank you Ms. :)

I like a bunch of comedians and find myself clicking on different ones all the time. I just wish I could remember names lol. I have watched a lot on Hitler and that era, it is pretty wild and can chill you to the bone.

OMG, you're totally correct in that statement. I could not even imagine living here without a cat!!! We had dogs when I was growing up so I'm not really sure how I became a dedicated cat lover, one of those things that make you go Hmmmmmm. My Mom currently has 3 dogs and ALL of them are a mess. LOL

Chill to the bone is an understatement! My Mother was born in Germany in 42 and the stories that I've heard come from my Grandmother will give you nightmares. They left Germany when she was 16 on a boat!! Tells me it took weeks to get here and I can only imagine what they had to go through. Talk about taking things for granted, gessssh.

This is my first post on this thread. I'm an American ex-pat and I keep in touch with friends in the USA via email. A couple of weeks ago, I decided that I would form an email group, so I could tell several people the same story at the same time. It's just a way of keeping in touch. This weekend I downloaded photos from Google Street View and sent them to the group as a way of letting them see some of the things I've been talking about, such as the local supermarket, a pizzeria and other places in town. It works well and I recommend it to anybody who has friends in distant places.

I have dogs as well, the youngest and biggest, is really becoming a therapy dog for my son. We didn't have that intention, but she gravitates to him whenever he is upset or sad. It is really cool to watch. I prefer the purr of a cat close to me though :)

That is pretty wild. I don't have anyone close to me that lived through that and I am always amazed when I hear the stories. I think I like documentaries so much because we can learn so much from them. You are right, we take much of what we have for granted, and although this situation we are going through now does not compare to those things that happened in WWII I hope some people realize it.

Hiya Ed,

What a great idea. I recently found the app, GroupMe. It's similar to texting but you can create groups and share things.

:)

Thank you for stopping by, feel free to say hello anytime you want :)

Have a great day!

It is a new day and a new opportunity to meet somebody. Send a message, a hello with some words of encouragement and send some brightness into someones inbox. Be grateful for what you have and show some compassion and joy.

Keep smiling everyone.

Nothing like a kitten running around and causing all sorts of havoc lol.

I am writing something erotic lol.

Can I send you a message?

My two kittens like to tease the dogs.

The dogs go crazy because they can't play with the kittens lol.

Here we are, once again. Have you reached out to anyone in the last few weeks?? Have you met a new person that you found a friendship with? It really can be that simple, just sending a little hello and a little something about what made you want to message them. It is easy to get locked in your own mind right now, easy to dwell in the isolation we are facing, so reach out and set yourself free from it, even if it just for a little bit, it will help.

We sit and think a lot when we are alone. Why not share some of those thoughts with someone? Find a person that sounds interesting, someone you think you could hold a decent conversation with and say hello. Well, say more than hello, tell them why you are interested in talking, compliment them on a post they wrote, laugh a ta joke they put out there. Do something to make them want to reply.

A good conversation can really help break up the day and give you some joy, make you smile and laugh. All it takes it a little hello with some words added to it.

You never know, a simple message might become a long conversation and you might find a wonderful friend.

Do you find yourself just looking at the site and scrolling? Do you find yourself refreshing your page to see if you received a message then exhale loudly in defeat?

Yeah, it's rough hoping to receive a message, some words to give you something different for the day. So, be the sender of a nice message. It doesn't have to be a huge message, just a few words to say hello with a bit of an introduction. It's not to hard, just send one to somebody.

And if you receive one, think about replying. I have heard there are a lot of people that get messages that are crude or rude, or just say "Hi there". Yep, hard to reply to those, but what about the ones that have context? Those are the ones you might want to reply to.

Be kind people, be compassionate and be an ear for someone.

Keep smiling.

Have you talked to someone new today? Have you received a nice message you were not expecting? Have you thought about making a new connection?

Yeah, I know, this site is based on and involves a lot of sex. It doesn't have to be all about that. There are a ton of fun forums, lots of games to play and laugh about. Threads that make you think and threads that make you wonder. Take a chance and meet someone in a platonic message, just a little message. You might really brighten someone's day.

There are a lot of people here at the moment, many looking to help the time move a bit faster for them as they sit in their home. There are many that are looking for company, looking for a friend and companion ship whether that is long term or not.

Reach out to someone that you find interesting, say hello. You never know what may happen if you do. You may find a friend for life or you could brighten someone's day for a few hours. Both are wonderful things.

Look at me, talking to myself again.... I really don't know if anyone sees this anymore, I have no idea. I will keep posting though, because I am a good pain in the ass I guess.

Have you sent a message to anyone new? Have you replied to a message that was sent to you out of the blue? Talking to someone here can be a wonderful thing, you can learn a lot and you can share a lot. I have learned that people tend to be more open when talking on line, be more real. Maybe it is because we don't see the odd looks of the one we are talking to. Maybe it is because we are not afraid that we will lose a friend by telling them some things about us that they will think is "far out there."

Say hello to someone, see if you can make someone smile. Just use your words and see if you can earn a friend.

Have a wonderful day :)

So it has been a few days since I posted something on here, that, of course, means I need to. Right?

How have you been these past few days? Have you met someone new? Have you started a conversation? Have you received a message from someone interesting?

It is amazing how a god conversation can make you smile, think and open your mind. On this site there are people from all over the world with lots of information and experiences that you can learn and hear about. It really is a wonderful thing.

So take some time, take a risk and say hello to someone, you never know what kind of friendship you may get.

Have a great day! :)
