are you afraid of the coronavirus?

When I read these snippets of what Trump say's during a press conference, I can not imagine for one second how people equate that Trump has any intelligence left at all.

There was a time, where Trump could actually verbalize his thoughts in a cohesive manner, not that his thought's were mind shattering but he could express himself above a grade 5 school age level at one point in time.

The parallels with late-second-term Ronald Reagan's cognitive decline are alarming. Trump won't live another six years.

TRUMP SUPPORTERS HAVE A PREDICTABLY INSANE CORONAVIRUS CONSPIRACY THEORY
Apparently this all ties back to the Russia investigation.

There’s an old saying in politics that goes “Let’s not stereotype anyone, but Donald Trump attracts some real wack jobs.” Data points that support this maxim include but are not limited to: the belief among Trump supporters that God chose him to be president; the belief that an established pathological liar is the most honest man in politics; and the belief that if he’d just had three fewer Big Macs over the last couple years, he be on track to live until 200. Of course, there’s nothing like the threat of a global pandemic to get already unwell people extra riled up, so now we can add “the belief that the deep state is using the coronavirus to take down the president” to the list.

Politico reports that a number of Trump supporters are pretty sure they’ve uncovered a smoking gun showing that traitors within the government are weaponizing the disease against the president, in a plot that goes all the way back to the Mueller report.

The likes of conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh and Jim Hoft, publisher of the Gateway Pundit, a conspiratorial, pro-Trump site, have seized on the sibling connection, as have a large number of anonymous Twitter accounts. “Rod Rosenstein as we all know definitely worked to undermine the Trump administration, which is oddly exactly what his sister is doing by undermining the more logical and calm message the president’s team has issued on the virus,” charged conservative pundit Wayne Dupree in a Wednesday blog post.

That's what makes the occasional "He'll be your president for four more years" taunts by the Trumpettes here so laughable. They can see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears that he isn't going to be alive through a second term (one way or the other). He isn't mentally there now.

Trump gets bullied by his own GOP regarding housing coronavirus patients

The Trump administration is backing off a plan to house some coronavirus patients in Alabama after state officials objected to the move.

President Trump "called to assure me that this plan will not move forward," Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) tweeted on Sunday. "We always want to help our fellow Americans, but this wasn’t fully vetted."

Alabama officials pushed back over the weekend on the proposal to house some American passengers with coronavirus in Anniston, Ala., after they were evacuated from the Diamond Princess cruise ship that was previously under quarantine in Japan.

"The FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, Alabama, was one site determined to be suitable and effective, but is not needed at this time," according to a statement released Sunday by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Coronavirus Testing In the U.S. Is Somehow Looking Worse by the Day

There was the revelation late Wednesday that federal officials initially declined to test the first U.S. 2019 novel coronavirus case of “unknown origin.” Plus word of hundreds of people under monitoring for infection in Massachusetts and thousands more in California.

Taken in tandem, the developments underscored festering concerns about testing for the deadly disease in a country with a questionable health infrastructure.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at first declined to test a since-confirmed case of novel 2019 coronavirus at UC Davis Medical Center, Dr. David Lubarsky, CEO of University of California Davis Health, announced Wednesday.

“We requested COVID-19 testing by the CDC, since neither Sacramento County nor CDPH is doing testing for coronavirus at this time,” he said in a press release. “Since the patient did not fit the existing CDC criteria for COVID-19, a test was not immediately administered. UC Davis Health does not control the testing process.”

Well given his supporters have at best a 4th grade mentality...he is a fucking genius

I noticed the hashtag #TrumpVirus is trending on the twitter right now.

Well shit, Trump is actually DOING something! He has instituted "strict controls" on press releases from the National Institute of Health on any matters concerning the virus.

For laughs, want a Russian conspiracy theory of the artificial virus variety?

So, according to some concerned Russians, the virus was being created with a goal of distributing it into Siberia and then immediately offering help with a ready treatment, but said help would be delivered by large numbers of Chinese specialists resulting in Chinese occupation of Siberia. The virus escaped laboratory before the treatment could be finalized. Or something.

Well, to be fair, he also gutted the nation’s infectious disease defense infrastructure.

But nobody ever gives him credit for anything.

He has no idea of what to do and it's really fucked up to have a President like this, but this is what racism wanted, so there you go! :D

@JayInslee: I just received a call from @VP Mike Pence, thanking Washington state for our efforts to combat the coronavirus.

I told him our work would be more successful if the Trump administration stuck to the science and told the truth.

Trump: “Like a miracle it will disappear”

Heaven help us.

oh goodie a dog in china just tested "weak positive" for the virus. 🤢🇨🇳🐕*🦺

There are many Corona viruses across many species. Any test we have at the time is nothing but a typical protein blot. The fact there isnt more, suprises me.

We have sequenced this...that is how the chinese were able to link it to the fish market in the first place...but no test is a sequence analysis

I think the fact that most people only experience this guy in "snippets" is very much to his benefit. Anyone watching that entire appearance on Wednesday would find his incoherence, inability to stick to the point, and complete lack of command of the relevant facts to be terrifying. But a news clip or two can make him sound like any other president.

His self-pity, usually just annoying, is really offensive in the context of a public health crisis. He's out there on Twitter complaining about taking political hits. Suck it up, you whiny bitch. No one who remembers the Ebola hysteria Trump and his fellow travelers on the GB whipped up will have any sympathy.
