███████████ Impeachment Proceedings On Donald Trump ███████████

I was never a proponent of removing Trump by impeachment, I want him voted out of office by considerable margins. We’ll see about that soon enough. But I wouldn’t be celebrating yet if I were a Trumper. The SDNY may have some interesting things to add to this tale after thoroughly reviewing the activities of Crazy Rudy and his Russian thug buddies.

and there are the forthcoming charges from various states, a long line of individuals women looking for justice and more to come. stay tuned. the impeachment hearings and trial may be anti-climactic to what may come...

I don't agree. Trump has torn up the country so much to the benefit of Russia that rebalance requires that he be impeached, removed, prosecuted, incarcerated, and made a strong negative example of for the historical records--yes, on the level of a Hitler, although even Hitler didn't get into the side crime and sleaziness areas Trump has played in. This isn't a partisan Republican/Democrat thing. Trump's case supersedes the political. That the Republicans have become gutless wonders is a side issue, which they could recover from by cutting Trump loose. Trump is a rot that needs to be cut out of American society, not just its politics.

Understood, but then you get Pence. Worse in many ways.

yes

ALL lacking in criminal action...all lacking in DIRECT contact...all LACKING in direct communication with Trump

That's right comrade. All is Well. ALL IS WELL

Just keep repeating that mantra.

And finish your meditations with the BotanyBoy Creed
War is peace
freedom is slavery
ignorance is strength
Jet fuel can't melt steel beams!

I've posted on the political path with Pence--agree all around to let him have his nominal year as long as he agrees not to run and not to continue Trump's policy lines. Let the country calm down for a year going into the next elections. Just do a Ford (without the pardon). And if he didn't adhere to that, impeach his ass on the same grounds being used for Trump.

It's always been hard--and now impossible--to paint Pence as a worse alternative to Trump. At the base, I don't think that Pence is a delivering asset of the Russians that Trump is. There isn't a single thing that Trump has said or done that doesn't benefit the Russians and disadvantage the United States. I think this element--the most threatening one--disappears when Trump is gone (but only as far as a federal pen).

vote! get out and vote next november. impeachment is a side show. vote trump and the rest of the rabble out next year.

Biden should ask Russia for dirt on Trump, you know they have it. In return he can promise reduced sanctions next year. Go for it, Joe.

Biden will be too busy preparing for a grand jury investigation of himself and his son to waste his time looking for the mythological Golden Fleece of present day politics.

Pretty demanding, for a newb. :D

Verybusy went on my ignore so fast that it must be a retread alt of someone who didn't understand what "banned" meant. I don't pay much attention to the coming and going of the banned, but if I smell one reappearing, I just hammer it.

How heroic of you.

Little ado about nothing. Guy takes a plum position because of his name. *Yawn*

Sure, go after the Bidens if you like, like the many fruitless times the Republicans have gone after Hillary Clinton for doing less in lax commo security than Donald, his family, and his mob are doing daily. Going after the Bidens is just an irrelevant deflection (as was going after Hillary's e-mails). It's no reason not to pin Donald Trump and his mob down for their corruption, criminality, and work for the Russians.

Let me see if I have this straight.

The folks who cheered on the 3 year pursuit of Russian interference and collusion have now declared that any investigation or questions about Ukrainian interference are off-limits.

Is that right?

It is tricky. The impeachment proceedings had to commence or else the Congress would have been abdicating its responsibility.

But I agree the best possible way forward is Trump losing the 2020 election.

You want to investigate a conspiracy theory every expert and intelligence community has debunked while simultaneously ignoring those same experts and intelligence community that says Russia did interfer

Is that right?

you made that up!

  • Your statements and links are from Sondland's initial private testimony from November 5th.
  • Since then, numerous officials have testified publicly about Trump's crude bribery attempts.
  • Sondland was allowed to amend his testimony publicly as a courtesy to avoid criminal perjury charges. He did so on November 20th.
  • PatriotMath might claim that 20 < 5, but we both know otherwise.
  • All the witness now agree there was a bribery attempt, a quid pro quo, requested by the President via Guiliani.
  • This has been one of your better attempts to "muddy the waters". Didn't work, though.

At Sondland's open hearing testimony from the day before yesterday he made a 45 minute opening statement in which he said "there was a quid pro quo". That statement created the headline in your original post on this subject.

HOWEVER, at the end of his testimony Sondland ADMITTED that he'd been told by Trump that Trump "want[ed] nothing" from Ukraine, and that "there isn't going to be any quid pro quo", AND that he (Sondland) "presumed" that there was.

He was then questioned on why he didn't include this statement in his opening remarks and he responded that he couldn't fit it in. Which made almost everyone in the room roll their eyes.

These are WELL KNOWN AND LINKED FACTS. That you don't know them sort of indicates that you're full of Schiff on this subject.
