House Impeachment Hearings

Not that I can take you half seriously after our last exchange, but here...

Burisma is a sketchy company. They put Hunter on the board for stupid money hoping for favor.

The US and other countries say fuck Shokin for not investigating corruption, including Burisma. Let’s send in Joe to twist their arm by withholding funds for international interests and giving them a tight deadline for firing the fucker.

If Hunter was doing sketchy stuff doesn’t mean Joe was on board because see above.

That narrative is made up out of whole cloth.

Burisma specifically pointed out that Hunter BIDEN was on their board in order to get Devon Archer an audience with John Kerry.

They weren't "hoping for a flavor." They got what they paid for. Hunter Biden didn't luck into all that money because the "hoped" for favors, he accepted the gig with the full understanding that they were ONLY hiring him as a conduit to dad.

Internal State Department Email:

Per our conversation, Karen Tramontano of Blue Star Strategies requested a meeting to discuss with [Under Secretary] Novelli [U.S. Government] remarks alleging Burisma (Ukrainian energy company) of corruption. She noted that two high profile U.S. citizens are affiliated with the company (including Hunter Biden as a board member). Tramontano would like to talk with U/S Novelli about getting a better understanding of how the U.S. came to the determination that the company is corrupt. According to Tramontano, there is no evidence of corruption, has been no hearing or process, and evidence to the contrary has not been considered. Would appreciate any background you may be able to provide on this issue and suggested TPs for U/S Novelli’s meeting.

John Kerry is Hunter Biden’s dad?

I love that the likes of connie, aka prof gav, and other republicans are trying to make the impeachment hearings about Biden.

Let's hope they keep focusing on that.

I also read that trump now has a NEW transcript of the call. Lol, it only took a few weeks to write.

Maybe on planet Mars that happened. Maybe you and Carnel can get together with the same forceps and help pull each other's heads out of your asses.

CS is a soundbite machine for Stupid.

These witnesses are two elite snobs who think they are in charge of the foreign policy of the United States. They don't like Trump or the possible changes "his foreign policy" might institute and how their imagined fiefdoms could be impacted or ended. Neither of them witnessed anything. What they thought they knew was second third and fourth hand, heard it from a guy who heard it from another guy, who heard two other guys talking about it. Fucking pitiful.

Word is, Nancy is standing in the wings ready to shut down this phony impeachment circus if they have another day like today.

Do try to keep up:

"She noted that two high profile U.S. citizens are affiliated with the company (including Hunter Biden as a board member). "

Joe Biden is Hunter Biden's dad. Having Joe Biden for a dad was the only thing that made Hunter Biden a "high profile, US Citzen."

Don't you have some South-American weather reports to look over?

What did the White House staff who have first hand knowledge say in their testimony?

From your lips to God's ears.

When they called the grand jury I thought that sounded sort of hopeful, but that could just as easily be so that he has subpoena powers with recalcitrant witnesses rather than going after actual indictments. I'm not going to believe the possibility of any indictments under this whole scheme until I see one.

Based on past history you'd be right in your jaded outlook. I think there's a sea change coming. Comey, Clapper, Lynch, and Brennan have all clammed up. They know that their game failed and Barr is pissed. This particular carnival is their last shot at redemption, although I can't see Pence rolling over either.

Remember, even though the IG is an independent investigator he still works for Barr. Barr can't, and shouldn't, push him to be disingenuous but he can damn sure push him to be thorough and open. In other words Barr can make him do his job.

And the same can be said re. Durham. Durham is awaiting that report to have the info he needs to really start digging. It's going to be drawn out and ugly but all the signs are there that it's going to happen.

I can't help but believe that this sudden rush on the part of Pelosi and the dems is to try to get in front of the IG report. The timing is just too damn convenient, don't ya think? Pelosi and the dems DO have a good idea of what took place although I don't believe that they were involved personally. And because by now they have a good deal of inside information of what went on they're in a full blown panic to save their party. Fuck the truth, fuck the people, it's all about the party now.

And although the repubs will benefit from an implosion there are more than a few of them that actually side with the dems. Remember, they too have their unelected drones in place that need protection and any deep cleansing of the state isn't going to help them either, not in the long run anyway.

What happened today was an unmasking of the "deep state." There can be no doubt anymore. The beginning of a parade of unelected drones who believe that they run the state, and up until recently they did. Is it any wonder that no matter who was elected nothing changed and nothing was "fixed?" You see, fixing a problem, any problem, meant that certain segments of their profession, and even them, would be rendered no longer necessary.

The entire civil service state is based on, and dependent on, a problem NEVER being solved.

It is interesting that all of the above are not out and about commentating on the phony impeachment proceeding. You would think Comey especially would be vocal. Bren an got hired by one of DNC propaganda media outlets, didn't he? Why isn't anyone asking for his two cents.

I've thought that for a while that the push for this ridiculous impeachment effort was so that when the other shoe falls they can claim that it's just to distract from the impeachment.

They have a less egregious claim than they did with the whole Russian collusion nonsense here and less evidence to back it up then they had or at least thought they had with the Russian collusion nonsense.

Right up until the day that Mueller testified they were still acting as if they were going to go for impeachment on obstruction but Mueller's performance was so abysmal that they tucked tail. It was the very next day that the Ukraine call was trumped up to be Mueller 2.0.

It's basically a full-time job for the anti-trump people.

How so?

I don’t doubt it for $50k a month. The ‘hoping’ comment only meant he couldn’t guarantee anything.

Of course it's all anti-Trump. But why?

Trump isn't a politician, Christ that should be clear enough by now to even the border line defectives. Trump is a builder. It's in his nature to run a project to completion. The politicians and civil servants know this and it scares the shit out of them. He's a disruptor and they fear and hate him for that, entrenched repubs and dems alike. He is a threat to their ability to do nothing while appearing that they're trying to do something. For example, why is DACA still an issue?

Not sure where you stand on Burisma.

I know where Hunter Biden stood on Burisma. I know where Devon Archer stood on Burisma. I know Hunter Biden is why Devon Archer got a meeting with John Kerry regarding Burisma. I know Burisma needed State Drpartment approval on some of it's business dealings.

I know you are not the least bit interested in any of this because you were told, 'There is no EVIDENCE of ANY wrongdoing by the Bidens. Honest!"

I think we, as taxpayers, should demand that congress give us our money back, that we are paying all these assholes, since they are making puppies rather than fixing a damn thing.
Salaries, and expenses......give it back.....and....all the salaries for all those cats with guns that protect them, while they work on legislation to take away our guns.

I didn't watch the whole dog & pony show.....just the highlights this evening. That was more than enough for normal motals to have to take.

The hearsay lalapaloosa.
What a joke.

Damn true. Kind of like the revolving door of the criminal justice systems all over the United States. No crimes, now jobs, no reason for being.;)

Do tell!

They all got dirt on their hands. But it makes a difference if the president has himself or the nation in mind when he does stuff.

Why??

Kent testified that he had concerns about the appearance (to the say the very least) of a convict of interest with Hunter Hunter Biden serving on the board of a corrupt company with his own father heading up all things Ukraine.

When he brought up the subject he was told that Joe Biden was too busy dealing with the death of his other son and the entire thing was dropped. So was that in the best interest of the nation or was that just in the best interest of Joe Biden?

Was dropping it in the best interest of Kent's career? Or was it in the best interest of the nation?

Would we be even having any of these discussions if it weren't for the actions of the Bidens?

Were the Bidens looking after the interests of the nation or were they looking after their own self-interest?

The House is doing what the Constitution says it should be doing.

The Senate, on the other hand...
