In inter news, support for impeachment is up 8 points in the last two days with a majority in favor of going ahead according to Five Thirty Eight.

It will become yesterday's news, only now the Democrats will have lost their last bullet. They'll look weak, and no body likes a loser.

Meanwhile, Trump’s biggest booster seems to be having doubts of his own. This morning, Sean Hannity told friends the whistle-blower’s allegations are “really bad,” a person briefed on Hannity’s conversations told me. And according to four sources, Fox Corp CEO Lachlan Murdoch is already thinking about how to position the network for a post-Trump future. A person close to Lachlan told me that Fox News has been the highest rated cable network for seventeen years, and “the success has never depended on any one administration.”

In recent months, Rupert’s oldest son has been holding strategy conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how Fox News should prepare for life after Trump. Among the powerful voices advising Lachlan that Fox should decisively break with the president is former House speaker Paul Ryan, who joined the Fox board in March. “Paul is embarrassed about Trump and now he has the power to do something about it,” an executive who’s spoken with Ryan told me.

What happens is that you ran across that talking point hours after it began circulating and are trying to pass it off as your own. Nobody believes you are chummy with 'Danny' or 'Susie G.'

Dick Nixon was facing a Democratic House & Senate. Trump is not.

I really do hope this goes all the way to a Senate Vote. It's about the only exciting thing in politics right now. (My money is on Trump unless a video of him signing a deal with the :devil: in blood shows up.)

Oh, I do too. And that names on the vote be taken and used in the next election campaign of these folks and show up in their bios forever.

I think it will be interesting to see what effect it will have on their jobs. It's worth a try. We all might be surprised if, push comes to shove, the Republicans in the Senate decide to slip it to Trump. There's no particular reason why they shouldn't. It's clear that most of them personally despise him and hold him responsible for chaos in the Republican Party. They've gotten most they want out of him. There's no particular reason that it wouldn't be in their interest to exchange the bull in the china shop for the religious nut, Pence.

You know, you don't sound like you don't care Trump could be impeached. But then, Trump doesn't sound like really doesn't care, either. :D

Do you even remember the amount of times you've attributed your beliefs on what others must be feeling to people who are telling you the exact opposite of what you believe them to be thinking?
