people are like drops of water,
in a rainstorm of acquaintances,
some roll off once they hit you...
others seep in and become part of you.

Yet they all leave a mark.

omg, did I just say that?

this IS good coffee!

edited to add...every drop is out of your control.
probably doesn't make things better, but still, that's physics.

Reading your quote made me think of this:
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Quantum theory...it's all relative.
Moreover, Newtonian laws are largely applicable based on the uncertainty of prediction as in relation to those particles around us.
therefore, within the scope of the subconscious overriding the ego, thank you mein "Freud"...when we split that atom, bad mojo gonna come out.

thank you.
ID speaks for itself today.

pass the bowl baby.

Wondering what kind of dressing to put on that word salad. Show me your math!

Here, have another hit.

:D

I got my Ipsy package (anyone else get Ipsy?) there’s not one product in this month’s package I’ll use. My preferences for lipstick are set to neutral, they send me pink. I’ve never used a highlighter and this is the second month I’ve received one. I asked to stop getting moisturizer, I got another one. And I’ve never ever used an eyebrow pencil. I’m either gonna look awesome or like a fucking idiot, there won’t be an in between. I think I’m going to deactivate my account because I haven’t been happy with my products for months.

I don't do Ipsy, but if you like clothes and shoes,
try JustFab

I love my subscription. And they have SALES!!! I bought my jeans for $7.95 /pair and I bought a different style pair for each day of the week..

I hope the 6 year that sewed them was reimbursed appropriately.

Seriously, I'll give you a referral code if you're interested in checking them out.

For makeup, I used to get Deck of Scarlet, but then they changed their stuff and I stopped the shipments.

Thinking about an evening after work when some friends and I were gathered around a table at a bar. It was me, a gay friend, and four women. A mischievous gal raised the possibility of us having an orgy; none of us took it seriously, but we enjoyed being silly about it for a while. Then, for some reason I'll never recall, we all started drawing genitalia on cocktail napkins. I'd had sex with one of the women there, and was trying painstakingly to capture her contours, while the women were making fun of our gay friend's poor attempt to draw a pussy. We were all between 30 and 40 years old at the time. The Greatest Generation we definitely were not.

I used to get a makeup package (Glossybox) every month. I liked getting a little surprise in the mail but like you, I feel like they didn’t listen to my preferences ever. It just ended up being a lot of extra clutter that I didn’t use.

I haven’t heard of Justfab. $7 jeans?? Can’t beat that. I’ve done stitchfix and trunkclub. I like both but I don’t feel like I’m getting a steal. I do like having someone else suggest clothes for me though. I’ve liked things I never would have chosen for myself.

I’d be interested in JustFab. A couple months ago I walked into Old Znavy at the right time and got some jeans for $0.97 and a $50 for $1.94, it was pretty awesome. I love a good sale.

He's like a teenage boy that's never dated or kissed a girl. Embarrassed by this fact, he overcompensates around friends and peers in a futile attempt to fool them. He oversexualizes everything and it only shines a spotlight on his self-perceived social failure. He has managed to fool one person at least. In his mind no one else sees his truth, but in reality we all do except him. He feels safe behind his fortified walls and I know he will never change.

Does anyone else get confused by that Black Haired Women thread? I get tricked every time. If only someone would post a Black, Hairy Women thread. :(

I can’t wait to get away, disappear into the mountains for awhile and enjoy the solitude, no stress, no screens, off the grid, just nature.

Reportedly that particular line in Bladerunner was adlibbed by Rutger Hauer and really made that scene all the more memorable.
