The Age of Edgelords (1997-2008) has long since passed into its iniquitous grave. The halcyon days for online and meat world-based assholes, pricks and general ain't-shit-schnooks to reign supreme off the strength of their smarmy fuckery will not return.
The smarter bullshit peddlers at the top of the food chain early on (i.e., Tucker Max and his ilk) smelled the change of seasons and knew when their time was ending, leaving their dated schtick in the charred ruins to break north. Those unfortunate lesser nimrods (i.e., Roosh Valizadeh and his ilk) who missed the last boat with their aging dudebro kindred to The Undying Lands are doomed to rot here and in other online board communities mired in a circular loop of their own making, playing the same ol' song to an empty-seat spectre audience peppered with a scant few lifetime ticket holders who laugh at them, never along.
For a brief time, it would seem that the ascendance of The Stank Lord Cheeto in America would bring back the elder Edgelord days for both fading grey-haired and young newbie douchebag alike, as they fawningly admire his hubris...but this heralding is ringing false. Their lord is a lord of lies, venal repugnancy and deceit. He is not and never was a part of them. They lack the money and social standing to associate as mewling toadies within the halls of his Potemkin Village. Once he disappears, that pitiful last gasp is lost to eternity.
These desperate shithead ghouls are now in The Age of Schmucks. There is no game of thrones to be had here, save for those made of porcelain with ringed plastic seats.

I'm trying to imagine who would be charmed by Lance anymore. Fifteen years ago, maybe, when the trolling was tempered with charm. But, maybe the impact of old age, he twisted into 100% bitterness long ago. Even his trolling has lost its edge... Once you could almost be impressed by the way he got under people's skins and found their weak points. Now it's just the troll clichés of fat, old, ugly, slutty, can't get any, etc. The ravages of time blunt the mind. The tiger lost its teeth.
