I didn’t used to be a Jo Brand fan until I saw her years ago at Birmingham Glee club - it was a charity night hosted by Mark Lamar and Jo was way funnier live than I’d ever seen on telly... I’ve seen two QIs being filmed, although with Sandy not Stephen. If you fancy it, register with applause store - not a bad freebie night... and I’ve been successful both times I’ve thrown my name in the hat

I’ve not seen her live but she deserves respect just for the shit about her weight and looks that she’s endured over the years. You’re lucky to get tickets for QI... I never managed it when Stephen Fry was presenting it although I did get to go to Would I Lie to You.

Also not seen the remake - I love Oldboy but it’s not my favourite of the trilogy... that honour goes to Sympathy for Lady Vengeance even though it’s ultra violent which isn’t normally my thing...
