As you age your mental faculties diminish. Your decline is hastened by your youthful wretched excess using amyl nitrite ("poppers") in the bathrooms of gay bars for over a decade. I know, I know, you "had" to use them, some of those twinks, especially the younger ones, just couldn't relax.

As I see it from what I read online,
Half of those who currently call themselves liberals
devolved from wanting to advocate for the poor and minorities (women, Blacks, Muslims)
to wanting to stick it to the rich, White men and Christianity. Communism

Otherwise conservatism in the USA is liberalism.

The illusion of human progress..

Human's are unique among the many lifeforms that populate the Earth's biosphere. We alone have the ability to collect knowledge during a lifetime and pass it on to a new generation. Subsequently, even though most humans do a very good job of resisting thoughtful analysis, there are always a few that let the knowledge of the past trickle into their minds and therefore the collective human knowledge-set continues to grow. That accumulation of information over thousands of years creates an illusion that the current generation is by far the smartest ever.

Past generations did not have electricity but we do. So we are very smart. But the average person has no idea how things work and they would have no ability to invent or design the may clever things that surround them.

Ask yourself: Could you really invent and design and build the device that you are using to read this? Your device is not the product of one mind nor is it the result of sudden discovery. It is the product of thousands of years of accumulated knowledge and development.

The reality is that the human races is devolving. Some seem to be in a race to prove that their generation is the dumbest and most dysfunctional ever.

Everyday I encounter people that don't know anything beyond what they are told to think. They imagine they are bright because they can google information. But a head full of factoids is not evidence of growing genetic mental skill. Don't misunderstand my point: There are many very bright people. But the genetic trend is not looking good.

The average American today is too stupid to even take care of their own health and yet most parts of the world are far worse. Even reading a post this long would strain the jittery brains of many.
