Democrats In Mourning

Voice-to-text inserted in the middle it became too garbled to fixed

New ICE regulations are being written to allow local police to make arrests of illegal aliens in sanctuary cities. A big win for America, a new hemorrhoid for Democrats.

I am a Democrat. I want the illegal aliens to be kicked back to their sh1t hole countries. They are biologically inferior. We don't need them.

Great! Asylum seekers are bad.

Not bad, just not our obligation.

There is a difference.

Immigrants are not bad. I bet the majority of you, have family not born the od USA

No one said they were....just that they need to follow the rules for immigrating like everyone else.

I'm a 1st gen American, both my parents came here LEGALLY, one as a war refugee.

But keep pretending there is no difference between asylum seekers, illegal immigrants and legal immigrants in order to support that open border and zero control immigration position.

Send them all to NY and give them information on how to get into Canada, start helping them cross that border to get all those good benefits.

We need to get allllllll the MS13, Mexican Mafia and the various cartel members we can find and drop them off on the border, point guns at them and tell them freedom/benefits await them in Montreal/Toronto.

See how fucking fast those "progressive" morons start screaming foul. :D

Or we could ship them all to North Korea and, as they say, kill two birds with one stone😎

What is it with the left in continually inventing new labels. There is only one labek for a person who is in another country without permission and that label is illegal alien.

The term is not purged orative. It only became so because of the unintended consequences of being lacks in repelling those who would enter illegally or overstay their visas.

Just like the phrase undocumented worker. You have no right to work in a country that you are not an citizen of if their rules do not permit that. There are many countries around the world that I'm more than qualified to work in that I wouldn't be able to do so without filling out some paperwork.

There's no such thing as an undocumented immigrant either. Immigration is a process and it requires the permission of the host country. If the host country has not allowed you to immigrate then you're just visiting. Perhaps legally perhaps not but you're not an immigrant and tell your host country says it's okay.

Labeling illegal aliens Asylum Seekers might well be a smart marketing Ploy but it is completely inaccurate. There is a process for seeking Asylum. We have embassies all over the world for anyone who wishes to seek Asylum. We are signatories to various treaties where we are required to give Asylum to those who have reasonable fear of actual political persecution in their home countries. Coming from a s******* country does not qualify one for Asylum. Failing to make your country of origin a habitable place doesn't qualify you for immigration to any country much less the United States.

Our obligations to Grant such a combination to Asylum Seekers are subject to the Asylum Seekers actually following international law on the subject. Essentially if there were political upheaval in Mexico and some Mexican had reasonable expectation that he's going to be personally persecuted for his own beliefs or politics and he is in danger as a result of those we would have to let them in. Not so for Guatemalan Guatemalan need to present themselves at the southern border of Mexico at the Mexican consulate and seek Asylum from Mexico if silent if he is granted by Mexico they become either citizens of or permitted aliens of Mexico. From there they can certainly apply like any other person in Mexico to become resident aliens are citizens of the United States but they need to do that the same as anyone else in the world who wants to come here. There's no reason at all that our country should not Grant preference to those who will actually in Rich America rather than cost America. We are not the world's welfare office.

People deliberately misusing the label of asylum-seeker in order to Ford our immigration policies and jump the line over other more deserving people who are in line going through the application process and trying to become immigrants is not only unfair it is a bad thing because it overwhelms our resources which are needed for people who actually need Asylum.

Now that it appears the government can make them wait in Mexico for their asylum hearings at least the logistical problem of their housing and care will be lifted from the shoulders of the American taxpayer. This all by itself has the potential of drastically reducing the size and frequency of these caravans.

Why is it that our national discourse has degraded to a zero sum game. If 45, or the GOP "gets" something, then the narrative is that the Dems "lost", and visa versa.
This is such destructive thinking, unfortunately being modeled by 45...

Is the era of both sides working together towards a solution now so far gone that we can never get back to it? Certainly not the way to MAGA....

"Both sides working together" also known as bipartisanship always consists of the Democrats demanding their preferred priority be immediately implemented in exchange for a worthless promise that some Republican priority at some nebulous point in time in the future that never comes.

The Dems got their amnesty. MILLIONS of whom are now reliable Democrat voters dependent on government and their DNC benefactors. An entire generation of descendants are now voting age and chain migration added further to the talley. Something like 60 million people are either immigrants or 1st generation as a result of the Republucans "working with" the always disingenuous Democrats.

Republicans shouldn't even have to be discussing the border security that they would have been promised for decades. There is no excuse for paddng your voting rolls with third world unskilled uneducated masses of voters very often dependent upon government handouts just to maintain power. It's unconscionable; no other country in the world allows anything even close to that.

Those amnesty beneficiaries and their children understand all of this and aren't excited to have a bunch more third worlders imported into their neighborhoods. No one with half a brain believes that the Democrats are doing any of this out of any sense of compassion. They do not give a shit. They proved it when they rejected Trump's offer to make more than twice the number of people that Obama illegally allowed to be in this country as DACA recipients in exchange for something as fucking simple as closing the Barn Door after the fucking stampede of horses is already out of the barn.

No one is interested in actual bipartisanship. It's always a one-way street and no Republican is having it anymore. Democrats NEVER gave the idea anything but lip service.

Democrat president shuts down the government to force bipartisanship its Republican's fault. Republican president shuts down the government to force bipartisanship it's the Republicans falult. It's war at this point and as far as I'm concerned I can't wait until this is about five countries instead of one.

But what about all the jobs lost in the detention center racket?

They can be converted into Asylum judges to reduce that shortfall. Don't have top be a real judge to do the job.
Great. Think I'll get me one of those asylum judge jobs. I'm sure I could do that well. What do you think?
