Ever so close to 62!

So sweet!

I work with a woman who will turn 63 next week and she's coming out of her shell more and more, nothing like you ;)

I, also, work with a 65-year-old woman who's naughtier than you

My brother and his family live near Millington. I'm going down in the next couple of months to visit them and put flowers on my parents graves. Mom passed easter morning of 2016 and dad 2 days before memorial day of 2018.

How sad. I'm so sorry. I've never been to Millington. My husband might know where it it, it's his home state. I'm came from Ohio and to here via Alabama.

Its about an hour north of Memphis...theres a navy base there that dad did his last assignment at. It used to be a naval air station but now the base is a training base and the air base is a municipal airport.

My husband tells a story from his first marriage about Memphis and that base.

He and his first wife was driving home from Ft Rucker and the news of Elvis' death came on the radio. They had planned on coming to Memphis that weekend so his wife could see a high school girlfriend. The friends husband was a Naval aviator and was stationed at that base. He tried to back out of the trip because he knew that Memphis would be crazy after the death. Needless to say, they ended up there. The couple lived in a complex not far from Graceland. Traffic was hell!
