We have many qualified border experts here on the board who have reviewed extensively the various Facebook memes about ladders shovels and racism and they have clearly concluded that there is no need for any wall anywhere on the border.

Then there's the money!

Although Democrats in the past have appropriated 25 billion dollars for this very purpose they have since seen the error of their ways. I'm sure that they realized that spending that kind of money on a physical barrier to keep people out rather than dealing with them on this side of the border after they get in would be a complete waste of money when that same 5 billion dollars could have been just simply handed out to welfare recipients where as everyone knows every $1 you spend on welfare returns to Dollars to the community because Democrat math.

When you think about it we really probably should just open the borders because more hands out for welfare dollars would double any investment we might make.

Although appeal to authority tends to be a weak argument, Trumps fired Chief of the border patrol does come to the argument with both expertise experience and no apparent ax to grind.

If there really was no benefit to putting a wall anywhere I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find some border patrol agents to interview who would say, "No that's nonsense they'll just go around or over it; we don't want to wall, we just want better trucks.." or whatever but they're not finding any border patrol agents to say that because of course it's nonsense.

A wall will make their job easier not harder and it'll make the job of the coyotes harder not easier.
