Only one person knows when Jesus will return. That is God the father.

Matthew 26:36 - "However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

Read the verses around Matthew 24:34.

First, sometimes the events that are expected soon are not the very coming of Jesus, but things leading up to the coming of Jesus. Here’s an example: Matthew 24:33, “So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates.” Next verse, and this is the problem verse for a lot of people: “Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place” (Matthew 24:34).

Now, notice carefully the phrase, “all these things” that are going to take place within a generation, does not include the actual coming of the Lord, because in the previous verse it says, “When you see all these things,” the very phrase of verse 34 used in verse 33, “You know that he is near,” not already here. The fact that these things will happen within a generation, these preparations for his coming, does not mean that his coming would happen in a generation.

He is coming but certain things have to happen first. :rose:
 
If he exists, he's probably not going to come back for as long as Christians keep waving around mini-versions of the implement of torture and execution he died on.

Maybe Jesus refuses to return until the stock price for myrrh goes up.
 
All I know is that, so my mom won't worry, I have a clean pair of underwear ready for the trip!;)
 
I'm gonna get so much shit after the rapture. I know a shocking amount of religious people who have given me legal ownership of stuff for after the rapture, to the tune of, "After we're gone you're going to need this X". Which is like... weird and also kind?

But I know a lot of preppers so it's all Christian preppers who know I'm not getting abducted by skydaddy for various reasons and the topic of the end of days comes up a LOT among people who are willing to give you industrial sized cans of corn.

Come the rapture I am gonna be set for unmilled grain.
