Mara, 63 and not ready to quit

I apologize for not responding to your thoughtful comment for such a long period. I have been taking a hiatus from Lit for reasons primarily related to the demands of work.

I agree with and understand most of your comments, although I guess I am a bit surprised that you reveal having certain submissive tendencies. Not quite sure why, except that you seem like a strong confident woman. I realize that there is no inconsistency.

Also the craze seems to have spread across gender lines. I gather that some men now shave as well. Have you run across that? What would you think of your husband shaving those parts?

Yes, and I appreciate the real woman comment. I too thought the bald pussy craze was temporary, sliding from porn culture to the wider world. And I too had visceral reactions against Barbie pussy with its dim echoes of pedophilia. I too have gotten past that, but not because I find it womanly and sexy. For me, it comes down to support of women’s choices. For those who choose to shave or wax, have at it. I enjoyed being completely shaved once because my husband enjoyed the process. I hated the itchiness of hair growing back. I’ve been fully waxed a couple of times, and while the process of hair being ripped out by the roots is far from enjoyable, I did find pleasure in cultivating a sense of submission.

What I find most problematic is the shaming of women around hair. OMG β€” hair is creeping out of that bathing suit bottom. Horrors β€” she doesn’t shave her underarms. Yuck β€” look at those hairy legs. FUCK ALL THAT. Hair removal is problematic for health β€” ingrown hairs, boils, infections. But if a woman WANTS to do it, I applaud her freedom of choice.

I like how public hair holds smells and juices. I haven’t been up close and personal with a hairless cunny, though. Sad but willing.

McIntosh was the architect to the masterpiece that was the Glasgow School of Art, he and his wife designed everything that went into the building: Unfortunately if burned down four years ago,and was then restored to it's formal glory, there was second fire this year even worse than the first, the money has since poured in for the rebuild.

it was fun! I chuckled all the way through it! :rose:

Good good!
And doesn’t my mouth look weirdly asymmetrical?!

I'm having fun imagining all the places you could leave dark lip prints.... Maybe get ME saying "oh that's weird..."

Uh oh! Messiness ahead...

Whimsical, playful, maybe even eccentric...definitely not weird.

I would like to view the rest of your cat outfit. A skin tight, stretchy body suit or better yet a full body painted cat suit with cat tail butt plug. :D:devil:
What could be a more realistic Halloween costume? After all, you are the cats' meow. ;)

OMG!!! Full body paint. I haven’t even gotten to the handprints series.
Brilliant idea, my friend.

Lovely Mara.

β€˜gamegamale’ beat me too it. Would love to see the full outfit including the tail.

Laughing... Remember that my naughty pussy hat was a freebie from a toy company? The costume budget only stretches so far. Pun intended.

They say great minds think alike. Kinda of like Mara's.
Here's to her Majesty. ;):rose::kiss:

Awww β€” you sweetie.

Once your lips are all covered, what happens next?

Things get messy. :D

We all are weird at this time of year

I am proudly weird at ALL times of the year.

I am a strong confident woman who can only maintain a submissive role for brief stints. Like a few hours at most. But I find the experiment interesting and freeing.
And oddly powerful.

Hairlessness on a partner is not in my experience. I believe I’d miss smells and textures, but I’m open.

Many lovely pics posted since my last visit.
I like how proud you look of your lovelies in this one.

Thanks for looking back in.

Yikes, the poor dear has an unfortunate history.

You're a sexy and sluty tease. Love your naughty smile

Hoping to flog you and use all your toys until you scream

Good gawwwd, man!

Sluty, eh? Well, I’ve scolded you in the past for using the word slut. A word I despise because I perceive it as shaming of sexuality. Which should be celebrated, not shamed!!! So you thought dropping a T would make it ok? WRONG. I’m beginning to think you enjoy getting me all riled up. There are better ways than outrage. Laughing...

Now get really weird and apply it to your areolas!

YES. Great minds...

The closest thing I have to a catsuit. But it’s hooded, so Plan B.

Looks like the cat's out of the...well, you get my point. A multicolored cat with perfect color spread in the most appropriate place. :D
Surely Plan B is just as provocative.
I'm anxious to see your cat tail.

Ah, beautiful Mara! Those dark lips, the warm heart. The willingness to laugh and play, to enjoy life to the fullest! Each day with you is indeed a great adventure. Thanks for taking me along on the ride!

Artistes corner

A decorated panel set a world record for the sale of a Scottish artwork.
The White Rose and the Red Rose, by Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, was sold at auction for Β£1.7m.
Another panel by the same artist, The Heart of the Rose, was also sold in the same auction at Christie's in London and fetched Β£490,900.

Macdonald Mackintosh was the wife of celebrated Glasgow designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The panels were first displayed in 1902.
The person who bought the White Rose and the Red Rose panel was said to be a private US buyer.

She used gesso to build up the texture in many of her paintings
