Elizabeth Warren proves her ancestry; embarrasses shit out of Trump & Trumpsters

one thing is certain: this whole episode has shown once again that weak men fear strong women.

HOWIE CARR ON ELIZABETH WARREN’S RESURRECTION OF THE “ONE-DROP” RULE: Fake news matched only by the fake Indian’s fake math. “She’s not an Indian according to the bylaws of the various Indian nations. She doesn’t meet Bureau of Indian Affairs standards. She … is … not … an … Indian. Period.”

Personally, I think she could have just avoided the controversy.. she should have followed the advice of this meme.. just look at the idiots like vette, notaj, botanydummy et al here that had so much to say..

Just like Obama and the idiot birthers..

Says the genius who reads at the 4th grade level LOL

I do know that there were a lot of runaway-slave ads in Southern newspapers saying things like, "Blonde hair, blue eyes, will try to pass for white." Probably a lot of them did pass after they were freed, and are ancestors to many of us "whites."

Us?

LOL I'm not white buddy.

oh oh you mean the (D)emocrat definition of "white" which just means not being black and having some social/economic prosperity?

Situational minority is only a minority if beaten/shot by a whiter cop right??

Never when beating out black kids in academia, that's a white privilege

Hey "not white buddy",
What does a half-breed half-wit like you choose when asked to select a race?
White? Asian? Mixed Race?

I'm guessing you actually ARE a "situational minority" and select your choice based on any perceived advantage in a given situation.

I know this will come as a shock but there is a truthful answer to this question:

Are you a Native American?

Possible responses (check one):

____ 100%
_____50%
_____25%
_____12½%
_____6.3%
_____3.1%
_____1.6%
_____0.8%
_____0.4%
_____0.2%
_____0.1%
_____No
_____It's possible, though I'm not entirely sure. Somebody in my family once mentioned that they were told that my great-great-great grandmother might have been a Native American.

As much as I'm entertained by this ridiculous saga (what else is new, you gotta love American politics!:D)
I still think that she's the real deal.

I'm also sure that she really thought that she had more native blood (the fact that she asked for a second DNA test proves her surprise at the findings)
and her notifying the College wasn't 'a scam', as some said. Most people would have done the same.

Ironic that Trump calls her out on that, after His Trump University saga.

I think that she would have won, had she decided to take Dems.' offer to run for presidency in 2016. Unfortunately, like LadyF said, this event might decrease her chances for 2020.

And after all is said and done...Donald Trump will be reelected in 2020.

Two questions were answered.

Was the story that she was told by her family, true ?

Did she have a Native American ancestor ?

She took the test.

In 2018, Elizabeth Warren submitted a DNA sample for analysis by Dr. Carlos Bustamante, a Professor of Biomedical Data Science, Genetics, and Biology at Stanford University who is “an internationally recognized leader in the application of data science and genomics technology” and was selected as a 2010 MacArthur “Genius” Fellow.

tRump was bloviating to his fans, when he claimed that he would do some things. He never did "toss a $2.00 Ancestry test kit at her, gently."

Elizabeth Warren did not claim to be a tribal member. She did not benefit from the programs that assist Native American tribal members.

I wouldn't take Ancestry.com DNA without a grain of salt. There are various degrees of checking DNA and most don't go back or as detailed as you wish. What you get for $99 is not what they show their guest on TV. As far as Warren everything you said about her being "Indian" is false and the DNA actually proved it. Heck using such a low percentage that in fact can't be proven for Native Americans (most tribes say you have to be 1/4 or some 1/16 to claim membership.) If we go by her then the fact my father was born and raised on the Yuma Tribe on the Colorado then I could claim I'm more Native American then she. Trump was right about her. She is a bigot and a liar and a thief. She stole an education from a deserving Native American student and has used her "claim" to help her political career. Don't blame Trump or anyone else for her being a liar and a fool.

Of course I take it with a grain of salt, but if you read and comprehended what I wrote what I said was my linage records bore out the dna result from ancestry.com. Which is to say in my instance it was accurate.

I never said Warren was "Indian" I said, as she did, that she had first nation heritage. With a claim like that, it doesn't matter the amount but whether or not it's there and the dna results proves it is.

Tribes do not use dna as a factor in deciding tribal affiliation. They use lineage records. She never claimed, or attempted to claim, membership with a tribe, only that there was Cherokee blood in her heritage. Big difference.

Does your father have linage records for the Yuma tribe? Does he have Yuma tribal blood? If not then your point is flawed and erroneous.

She stole and education from a deserving native american? how did she do that? As far as I know she never used the claim of native blood to help her in her education. If she did please supply some back ground cites so I may correct myself.

And just how is she a bigot? If she was I don't think she would be claiming native blood.

As Inigo Montoya said,"I don''t think that word means what you think it means."

You don't own the board. You move on or just not post to me if you don't like my posts.

To translate this incredibly stupid post: "You're not the boss of me!"

Back to the topic at hand. This was a grave mistake on Warren's part. I don't understand why she would release results that show her to be just another typical white person (1/32 at best), and I don't understand why she released them so close to mid-term elections. Trump still needs to pay that million because he didn't specify how much ancestry... but spending a mere million to neutralize a worthy future opponent is quite a bargain. He goaded her into doing something stupid; I am surprised she'd be so short sighted.

She still hasn't proven it.

She doesn't care about the midterms, her effort is to get this issue out of the way for her 2020 coronation as the Democrat nominee. I'm not sure if this was a successful gambit for her and it's taking a lot of the news cycle away from the Democrat Party's push for a blue tsunami.

And so it starts.

Another woman with high political aspirations being demonized. And on the other side a shrug and a yawn... status quo.

I'm seeing a pattern.

It's not Trump I'm talking about. That loudmouthed gasbag is a given in his inappropriate, unprofessional and over the top behavior. The American public however is showing no signs it has learned the lesson of sexist attitudes and how they effect perception and behavior.

There isn't just one "American public." It's a sweeping generalization of humongous proportions to tag everyone with the same attitude or action. I'll bet it isn't even 30 percent of the American public that is riding Warren about her ancestry.

Two questions were answered.

Was the story that she was told by her family, true ?

Did she have a Native American ancestor ?

One "story" Warren told was that her great-great grand uncle, William J. Crawford, claimed his mother, O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford, Warren's great-great-great grandmother, was a Cherokee, based on a 1894 Oklahoma Territory marriage license application. Unfortunately for that tale, the marriage license makes no such claim of Cherokee ancestry. Plus, Warren's x3grandmother was listed in the Census of 1860 as "white" and was most likely half Swedish and half English, Scottish, or German, or some combination of either - which precisely points to Warren's own primary DNA.

Even crazier is that O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford's husband, Warren's x3grandfather Jonathan Crawford, served in the East Tennessee Mounted Infantry Volunteer Militia from late 1835 to late 1836. It was the Tennessee Militia which rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee, the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837.

Cracker white guilt much?

Another of Warren's "stories" was that her mother and father had to elope because her father's parents forbid them to marry because her mother had both Cherokee and Delaware blood in her. If that was even close to being true, her recently purchased DNA test should've backed-up that "story" at least somewhat. Alas, socialist Warren's actual intent for offering up that "story" wasn't to point out her fabricated heritage, but to disingenuously highlight her own projection of discrimination.

Unfortunately, as entered into evidence earlier, Bustamante determined the "likely" evidence of Warren's 1024th chance of Native American heritage only from the DNA of Mexican, Peruvian and Colombian samples, combined with his theory of population migration.
