Next Sunday is "Machine Gun" day at the range. A friend is bringing his arsenal out to play with. 2 G36's, 4 M16's, 2 M3's, a M14E1, 4 MP5's and a few others. I'll video some of the action and post the links here.

The ladies LOVE the G36. It's cyclic rate is about the same as a Sybian on steroids. The look on their face after they've fired that rifle is something to see.

I'd like to spend some Quality Time with an M14E1. I wish I had bought a stock back when they were "reasonable." Of course, they were overpriced as Hell, but they were available. Now, they're scarce as hens' teeth and I wager that they're priced prohibitively.


Crashed early, so up early. Cats have eaten. The boys squabbled during the night. On the bed. On me a time or two. Thanks be to Allah that it's a bit cooler and I crawled under the covers.


The truck goes to get its new tires here not long after daylight.

A wet day today so the coffee tastes even better as I look out the window and sip it.
Maybe I'll take a car drive later if I can find the ambition.
I have some steaks marinating for later and absolutely no plans for today except to relax.
My coonhound has already taken up a spot on the couch in front of the gas fireplace, I draped a blanket over him and that is probably where he'll spend most of his day. The husky however is waiting on those steaks lol
