Gorsuch for SCALIA was an equitable trade. Garland for Scalia after Scalia's suspicious death nominated by a lame-duck President is what the Biden rule is tailor-made for. Fighting that was stupid. No way murkowski and Collins would have voted for the nuclear option on Kavanaugh under the circumstances, but no worries, the filibuster i's already gone.

Kavenaugh is a fair swap for Kennedy as nominated, an upgrade for how Kennedy actually voted on the bench. Call it an upgrade, now, but recompense for what conservatives were owed for decades. If they hadn't attempted the assassination that they did, or at least did it in a timely, reasoned fashion Kavenaugh might have comported his tenure to Kennedy's centrist, consensus-building role. They will reap the whirlwind for what they did. Not a damned thing wrong with that. We have Roe v Wade because Blackmun had a burr under his saddle from doctors being sued while he was lead counsel fo Mayo.
